Not too large to lift and carry, not too heavy for my daughter (13). Takes for a solid surface to reproduce stage dancing.

It's a great size for my 7 year old daughter. After her first practice session on it, it had scratches on it, but that's why I bought it. I want her to scratch this up and not my floors! Initially, she said it was slippery, but she has been tapping away on it without any problems at all. She hasn't mentioned it being slippery again. I expected it to be loud and it is loud, but I'm happy if she's happy.There's no such thing a a quiet house when you're the parent of a tap dancer!

This board is huge. However after one use the chips off the top are plenty. Not sure how long this will hold up

Slides easily under the couch when not in use. Feels sturdy even though I’m a plus size gal with plenty of room to dance around. It makes me happy to know I can have a good time at home tapping away whenever I want without the worry of wrecking my floors or relying on dance class schedules that don’t fit my schedule. Quite Large, but i expected it, after comparing to folding Boards, etc. ..had read that other people's Boards arrived Damaged, but risked it, hoping for the best. ..but, mine was Obviously Dropped on its corner, and dented/chipped.. ..a Note was even included about possible Damage-! ..and SENT to me Anyway!! ..oh bretheren!! ..im very disappointed by this kind of "new age" Quality and Customer service.. sighhh.. but, im glad to Tap at Home, ..so...yehh

I bought two of these. One is not level to the floor and the other is. I thought it was maybe the floor so I moved it around and it still wiggles, not great for tapping.
