I’ve always wanted a G-Shock but I work in a business casual/professional industry which limits my daily wear to more classic watches. I stumbled upon this watch while at Macys and decided to look into it more. This really fit the bill as it is durable enough for daily use as well as comfortable to wear during work each day. The functions are pretty user friendly and the watch comes with a light during low-light scenarios. The best part of this watch is the ability to dial in different time zones when traveling. I’ve had it on several trips out of state and it has come very handy. The watch comes in different colors and has strap options as well. I will be getting another one in a lighter color just to add some variety to my daily.

Great cloth strap. Very elegant but rubust!

I've been wanting an analog G Shock for a while, but ended up returning it. It's a great looking watch, but I spend a lot of time in low light environments. And the light function is just sad. Pressing the button gives you an anemic light that barely illuminates the digital portions. I have a 20 year old Timex Indiglo watch that cost $30 that has illumination that blows this Casio out of the water. If this watch a a truly useful dial light, it would be amazing. But it's an inexcusable oversight and sign of cheapness as is.

The media could not be loaded. Great casual watch. Simple, durable, and dressier g shock watch. This is a perfect watch for those who want something that looks clean and is not expecting to use the button functions multiple times a day.A positive display would have definitely made it more practical. The negative digital display looks cool but is very difficult to read (especially while walking/running). The buttons are small and difficult to press, especially if you have gloves on. If you are a traveler and change timezones frequently, the GM2100 requires both the City and the DST setting to be changed manually. Changing the city does not automatically carryover DST on/off for the new timezone (for eg. If you go from CHI with DST on to NYC timezone be sure to change the NYC DST to on manually). Also, the light cannot be used while in the adjust mode. This is very annoying. Poor firmware design by Casio in my opinion.If you are looking for something more practical, go for a Casio Protrek or G Shock with a positive display and large buttons.

The media could not be loaded. I had been eyeing this for months and saved some Amazon gift cards I had won at work to get this bad boy. I love it, it matches my GTI and looks badass when driving it. It's tough, but sleek and muted. Really elegant from a sport watch and I wear it every day now no problem. Be aware that this is a tough steel watch so it's much heavier than most G Shocks. I do notice the weight if I wear it for more than 12 hours. Accurate, sleek, sexy, tough, and comfortable for most of the day. If you're thinking about getting one and can afford the extra 100-150 dollars for a G Shock, I highly recommend it.

This is my favorite casioak in g shocks collection. The details on this watch are amazing. I have the all metal g shock square and I was shopping for an all metal casioak when I come across this. Far more comfortable and noticeably lighter than its all metal version. I have a 7 3/8” wrist size and the watch fits perfect. G shocks are meant to be big so for smaller wrist people I’d still recommend getting this watch and trying it out for yourselves.
