Upper Body Compact Work Out Equipment
I purchased this product to take care, strengthened and tone up my upper half of my body: Arms, pectorals, and back. It has several tension options, a compact manual, and is a size and design easy to put away and store. Good quality and good price for a product that will help to improve my overall body image.

Great workout machine, but I can definitely see it. Keep breaking over and over.
This workout machine is great, but the fact that I use it so much and do 300 reps at 10 to 12 weight, and eventually completely snapped and I needed to order a new one which they gave to me for free. I can absolutely see this machine breaking again, simply because I use it so much and the weight is just too heavy for it not to break. It is made very well, but with the amount of strength needed to push about 3000 reps a week, I just cannot see how it wonโt keep breaking over and over again. I absolutely love the machine and love what itโs doing to my body and getting me stronger, I just think that it needs to be made a little stronger because I can definitely see it. keep breaking over and over again. But I will definitely keep using it. Definitely a great product.

Works well.. a screw came out so I can't give it 5 stars but very happy with the purchase otherwise..Starting to see the results after a full month of consistent use at least 3 times a week.

FEEL THE BURN, BABY!
The EASTMOUNT exerciser is fantastic! I bought a different brand a while back and it had rough plastic hand grips. The Eastmount is soft and comfortable on your hands. The compressions are very smooth, and I'd like to meet the person who can do 100 reps on the highest setting! Me, I can't even budge it. So, I'll be able to use this for years. High quality build, well designed, and you can definitely feel the burn! I can see the difference in my arm and chest muscles. I highly recommend!

Just Buy It
This is what I expected and more. It's built to last and it provides a great workout. You can use this for traveling for a nice hotel workout or you can use this at home. Even if you have a home gym already like me this can still be a great addition. Shoulders, back, arms, and chest this can target all. Just buy it!

I think there's a reason why you don't see this type of ergonomics in the gym
I bought this for a light-weight way to do some upper-body resistance maintenance while traveling. This packs nicely into a bag, that was my intended use. I started keeping it next to my computer desk for the same reason and using it while thinking or while waiting for computer things to happen. This turned out to be a mistake (for me). I'm a relatively "fit" guy you might say (I use 40lb free-weights regularly and I run several times a week - I'm not 'johnny-workout' but I'm also not entirely inexperienced) so I was not expecting to have a problem with this device. It isolates and works the muscles you expect it to but the unintended consequence is that it absolutely murders the tendons in your wrists and elbows. Tendons. Not the big guys you work out regularly, the little guys that connect the bones to everything else. And it creeps up on you, days or weeks later. There's a reason, I think, that the chest machine at the gym does not involve your wrists & elbows. It's entirely possible that I'm "doing it wrong" and I'm willing to concede that if someone else has found an effective way to make this a part of their daily routine I'm not going to tell them that they're lying, but the way that the device is ergonomically designed led me to operate it in a fashion that felt damaging to the connective tissues that you're really not supposed to strain that way. I hold heavy stuff at weird angles sometimes for hours at work so I don't think that I'm one of those guys who isolates a few cosmetic muscle groups and neglects normal mammalian balanced "connector" muscles in favor or some kind of aesthetic (I don't look or want to look a guy who works out solely for the aesthetic) so I don't think I'm having problems with this device because I'm 'unbalanced' in that way. I don't really "work out" like your average gym-rat now that I think about it, I get much of my 'workout' done on-the-job. Either way, I figure that I probably have enough experience to identify a "good hurt" vs. a "bad hurt". Good Hurt: Sore, exhausted, but energetic (and give it a little time and it'll want more). Bad Hurt: Shooting pains, tender, wants to stay at rest; all movement feels bad. Maybe it's just user-error, but this thing generated a lot of those bad hurts and I just ended up quitting it. I still think the build-quality is solid (although I had to loc-tite the nuts myself - not that big of a pain) but I'd use with caution: I think it's easy to damage yourself with this device, regardless of prior muscle-tone and experience.

Pseudo chest fly machine .
I read some of the other reviews , with regards to tendon issues. I agree it may cause those, if you are sensitive and or older 60 + may I suggest some sort of stretch band version of this. But for me adding this to my home gym ensemble, was a great buy. When used properly it mimics a chest fly machine and I love the way it targets the pectoral. Amongst my routines adding this in is the perfect way to get the chest pumped and I can already see new definition forming after a week of use. It's great. I read in previous reviews as well , that this device leaks as it uses some lubricant based hydraulic to make resistance . If it leaks I will update for qc issues. But so far so good. If you needed something else to be a cherry on top , for your chest workout this is worth the 50 bucks. It did hurt my tendons , but after a couple days not so much. Just don't hyper extend, and hold a comfortable formation while using, if you find yourself struggling , turn down resistance don't be a try hard. Great device , if it breaks I will buy new again .

Good resistance
So far so good. This little machine has a good amount of resistance I am enjoying the exercises it targets the upper body well. I find that sometimes the screws and nuts get a little loose so you must remember to tighten them. Im glad i brought this.
