This item is awesome. My dogs poop 1-2 times each on our morning walk. I can get all the poops into one clean bag. I was going to get the kind with the stick but this is compact and easy to use. The only issue is that on a 20 minute walk the scooper will end up smelling so I just keep it outside. I would need to do that to the stick kind anyway.

This scooper really keeps me from having to touch or smell the poop. The clam shells open and close nicely on the poop. I can even leave the used bag inside the scooper. There is no mess to get on your hands, and no smell for the rest of the walk. Definitely works very well and holds up to my dog's tiny poops. for me and my dog. He is a mini aussiedoodle. My only set back is the hook is too small to attach to my leash. I have to carry the scooper separately. But it is well worth it.

It hurts when I bend over to pick up poop. This device makes it easier because I don’t have to bend over as far. Less cumbersome than long handle scooper.

So yes this works to pick up poop without touching it, however it is kinda a pain to use. You have to preload the bag into the scooper before the poop happens, and tuck the bag inside, and pull the bag up and around the top, lots of steps. And if your dogs are like mine and poop several times on a walk then you've gotta repeat all those steps bc its almost impossible to pick up more than one poop with one bag. Its easier to just use a bag and pick up as much poop as you need to before using another one.

Excellent tool for cleaning up after my dog. It means I don’t have to feel the icky squish through the bag, or lean over so far. Place bag over scoop, scoop the 💩, then twist & tie the bag. Drop in the nearest trash bin.

This is way better then the bottle claw scooper and it will pick up dead rodents cats leave

Picking up dog poops have been a challenge for me. I did not like the feel and smell. This product just arrived this morning and I immediately set up the plastic. Not a coincidence that my Havanese bigger pup pooped on 3 spots because he is recovering from constipation. Two of them are mushy. I immediately pick up with this and it works well. After picking up one, it closed and I did not smell it. The odour apparently got locked in, then I shook it to put the first intact and opened again to pick up the second and it worked. I also learned that if you want it all neat and proper, use one bag for every pick up unless the next ones are small. I recommend it because it works. Not much smell while tying up and no more feel in my hand. Besides this, I tied it while the content is inside and never handle it. I opened it right on the garbage bin and it dropped without me handling the part with poop. Try and you will like it! Thanks!
