Brilliant easy to use and no problem whatsoever. I read before too many complaints reviews about this product but for me it is perfect. Really easy to use and bear in mind that I don’t like using it. This time I enjoy my ironing.

This is a fab iron glides effortlessly over fabrics whether it's jeans or a cotton t shirt Well balanced I prefer to iron on eco setting Only complaint rather short power cord Just had to reposition where I iron Excellent steam quality Yes it's not the cheapest but well worth the extra

Tefal puregliss steam iron
Tefal iron seems to work ok. But lead is two short at just under two metres. So I had to use an extension lead . Also the iron does not fit a standard ironing board holder so have to rest on top of the board . Hopefully works ok and interested if the calc system works. Possibly better to get the next model up the ultimate pure which has a longer lead. And more steam but that is £100 in Black Friday sale.

Poor design
I am disappointed with this iron. Firstly, the cord is too short that unless I set my board up very close to a socket, (cost cutting exercise?) it does not reach the end of the board and therefore the plug loosens in the socket. You may need to use an extension cable. Secondly, the steam boost switch on the underside of the handle is very easily and accidentally pressed producing too much steam when you have the main steam switch on. I have contacted Tefal and to be honest I don't think they are bothered. On a positive note, it does iron nicely but I would not recommend this product.
