Maybelline Newyork Superstay Better Skin Foundation - 40 Fawn

Used Estée Lauder double wear for around 10 years but they changed the ingredients and didn't like the way it sat anymore so looked for an alternative & I'm so glad I did! I get 4 bottles of this for the same pice and looks absolutely stunning on the skin! My new fave 💕

I have try many different foundations over the last 20 years but find this the best, easy to apply and stays on, although I have never tested it for the 30 hours 🤣🤣

…this make up for years can’t really go past it.You have to be careful with the amount, I have to use quite a bit to cover dark circles etc but it’s easy to go too far and it does cake and go a horrible colour if you go overboard.Saying that the coverage is good for better bits of skin and it stays on all day, I used to fix my make up all the time but once this is on it stays on.Whenever I order it from Amazon, it’s always really watery when I first use it. Have to get out the first bit and shake the bottle really well for it to stop coming out like that. Never have that issue when I buy it from shops so not sure why.

All day coverage. Suits my skin type perfectly which is oily with a dry nose and eyebrows

I'm abit disappointed as I ordered the colour I normally got before the changed the packaging, but it is slightly a different colour.In general the foundation is has good coverage, I'd say medium to full coverage. It takes a while to dry, and you cannot really build it up as it pulls the base coat away. I find it becomes greasy after about 4 hours even with powder on and then wipes off easily. It 100% doesn't stay perfect for however long they say, bits of it would stay put but half will of slidden off your face. I've been getting this as cheaper the the Estee Lauder Double wear. The coverage is very similar, but Estee lauder durability is a million times better.

Working as a makeup artist for quite a few years but now being a full time stay at home mama I’m used to working with a lot of makeup and different products and brands. Although I’m not working full time , I do still enjoy playing around with makeup when not on mama duties .I only used to use certain brands etc in my professional working kit but I always remember using this for a while a couple of years ago and really liking it. A lot of women would always ask me a good cheaper foundation and would often recommend this When I purchased it this time I was expecting to still love it but I can definitely say they have changed the formula as this is really bad and nowhere near the same.I checked and they had discontinued the old formula that everyone loved and replaced it with this.The first thing I noticed when trying it out was how rubbish the pump was. It didn’t pump the product up and after trying for a while , I decided to just tip it out on to the back of my hand. The pump felt very cheap and felt more like my daughter’s toy makeup.I could tell the second I had tipped it out on to my hand that I weren’t a fanThe consistency was drying and thick and just sat on top of my skin , drying out the skin on my hand . I’ve had several attempts with this foundation to try and make it look good and nothing worked. I tried primer and no primer . Applying with my fingers , sponge , beauty blender , different brushes , puffs and felt I got slightly better results with a damp beauty blender but It still looked terrible. I am shocked this can be called activewear 30 hour foundation as the only thing it stayed on for 30 hours was the clothes it stained.The coverage is ridiculous, it was definitely not full coverage and highlighted all the things I wanted it to cover. It just sat on top of my pores and made them look huge , I could still see the darkness under my eyes and it dried so patchy around my nose and on forehead and chin. If you have any kind of wrinkles, creases or lines this will highlight them in a big wayAfter doing my full face of makeup and highlighting and contouring etcI looked shocking , my face was full of streaks and the foundation had oxidised 3 shades darker than my actual tone. Nothing looked natural and I looked more like a clown . My face was full of smudges , dark marks and streaks and I looked like a dry , cakey mess. The foundation on my neck dried in big lines and streaks too .I feel like the only way you could ever maybe get away with this foundation is if you had perfect skinOr you’re under the age of 21 and your skin is amazing, but even then I highly doubt it.After trying this several times I have now thrown this in the bin. When trying to get foundation out of the bottle It also stained my clothes . I could not find one thing about this that I actually liked. It is not even the fact it is not a high end foundation because for this price you can get much better budget foundations on the market that look great and are full coverage.Please don’t waste your money on this and spend your money on a foundation that will make you feel confident and get all the coverage you need.

Easy to apply on skin. I can use it on my sensitive skin.

Fidèle à l'annonce au niveau de la couleur. Le nuancier du vendeur est juste.J'ai lu que cette marque est relativement couvrante et je le pense rien qu'en voyant la texture.De toute manière cette marque est une valeur sûre 🙂

Es justo lo que buscaba. Buen acabado en la piel, se funde perfectamente y con una buena cobertura. Tiene un toque luminoso (ni destellos ni nada) que favorece mucho pq le da un aspecto jugoso a la piel y es lo que yo quería. Me aguanta perfectamente toda la jornada y cuando salgo me pongo el protector solar en bruma y no se altera mi maquillaje. De precio fenomenal.
