kitchentoolz 1 Gallon Glass Mason Jars – Extra Large Wide Mouth Jars with Airtight Lids – Perfect for Sourdough Starter, Fermenting, Pickling, and Storage – Made in the USA – Pack of 2

Wowee! I was looking for some oversized jars (or smallish containers) in which to keep the dry cat food. The large package of Taste of the Wild comes in 14-pound packages so I hoped that two of these jars would work in relocating the entire bag's contents. Alas, not quite. I will need one or two more of these gallon jars but I will happily get more of these. What impressed me about this are several things: (1) they are safe for human food so I can count on high quality; (2) they are thick glass with an airtight plastic screw-on lid that won't rust over time; (3) they are not too heavy even when filled (though I guess that depends on what you fill them with; (4) they have a wide mouth so they are easy to filll; and (5) they are made in the U.S. In short, this is an outstanding product and I am pleased that it will hold the cat food in an easy-to-see-and-find package. Highly recommended.

Great as advertised. Used for hot tea after brewing\ with 1/4 filled with cold water prior to pouring.

The jars are made from high-quality, thick glass that feels sturdy and durable. They’re the perfect size for storing a variety of items—from fermented foods like kombucha and pickles to pantry staples like flour. The airtight lids are fantastic and truly keep everything fresh. I also appreciate the wide-mouth design, which makes it super easy to clean and fill the jars without any mess. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for large-capacity, high-quality storage containers. Great value for the price!

These are awesome jars. Perfect for waterglassing eggs.

I use these for houseplants. I always drown them or desiccate them if I try regular pots, but these are perfect. There's enough room in there for a ton of dirt and you can see at a glance whether you should add water or not. Plus, if you only fill half or so with dirt, the soil is protected from evaporation so the water lasts a really long time. Since it's a pretty, classic, simple container, I think it's super cute to add a tasteful decoration in with my plants too. I'm a freak so each of my jars gets an animal skull, but the clear glass means you can sincerely appreciate whatever kind of small garden decoration you add.

Arrived in 1 day in excellent condition. Fair price for 2 glass jars. I like that they are made in the USA. I wish however that another product other than foam ( which is not biodegradable, recyclable or compostable) was used to help glass from breakage. It was my mistake as it was in the description that I only looked at and saw now... Would you consider using a more sustainable product to protect the glass from breaking? They’re many options. I would buy again if you stopped using foam. I hope you do as I like to support small business. I need to buy more, so will be on the lookout next time round or perhaps the seller can let me know. Then I would definitely buy again if you took it out. Other than that.. perfect. Thank you..

These jars are perfect for brewing fermented kombucha tea. I have to say that I was worried that the jars might arrive broken as they are glass and delivery services are not the most careful considering all the packages they have to deliver especially around this time of year. They arrived in perfect condition as they were very well packaged to insure arrival to their destination in one piece. Thank goodness. I didn't want to have to deal with broken glass jars and reordering, etc. As a result, I could get down to the task at hand and prepare my kombucha tea as soon as I received them. At this time of year, I make fermented kombucha tea as a present for those family members who do not have the time to make their own. I do have a proprietary method of making kombucha right in the jar; so I wanted to make sure that these jars were tempered as I brew the tea directly in the jar using boiling water. I placed the jar in the sink as a precaution and poured the hot boiling water in the jar which had the loose tea and sugar already in it. I was being cautious in the event that the jar cracked and the liquid came gushing out. I didn't want a mess to clean up. These jars were described as MASON jars; therefore, they should have tempered glass. So I have tested them out and can attest that they are, in fact, mason jars that have tempered glass. I was very happy with their performance and I am sure that the recipients of my kombucha gifts will be delighted as they can reuse the jar for storage. Another benefit is that they have an airtight foam-lined plastic lid that will be beneficial in preventing leakage of the tea when in transit. They performed better than I had expected for the use I intended them for and the price was very good and was also competitive. These jars arrived very quickly, were in excellent condition, and looked better than I had expected them to look; so, overall I was very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this seller as a source for your kombucha and storage needs.

The jars with the white lid are absolutely amazing! They close tightly and easily and the jars are very easy to clean with the wide mouth. The glass is thick and durable, I have bonked them off each other countless times and I have not had a single chip or fracture! They are a great size for tons of different things, and they are perfect for curing too!

It is a good product Served my requirements

100% recomendable!

My glass jar arrived with a metal lid, not plastic as said in description.

I bought the 1 gallon glass jars with the intention of persevering some wet/dry foods that I often use in cooking and baking. I found that various products I use often go bad before I can use them all. I’ve been looking for sometime for glass jars such as these but was unable to find anything in my local stores. I came across these on Amazon and they are exactly what I need and at a pretty good price.

Son exactamente como aparecen en la foto. Durables y muy utiles
