Windstorm [DVD]

Windstorm Wilder Than Her Dreams is in English and in the Widescreen Version. The DVD works just fine in the USA, the video is excellent. The Ostwind movies that follow are all in German and the DVD's will not work in the USA. I am hoping the Ostwind movies will some day be translated to English so I can watch them here in the USA.The love and compassion that the teenage girl (Mika) had for the horse (Windstorm) was truly an inspiration. The script was ok, it could have been better. However this was more than overcome by the remarkable bond and connection between Mika and Windstorm.Under difficult circumstances, Mika's determination and commitment to save Windstorm was unwavering. Mika would let no obstacle get in her way to help this beautiful horse that she loved so dearly. She never gave up. This movie was such a joy to watch. God's Blessings on His people and His creatures.

Love horse stories.

Watched it at least a dozen time on Prime in the last couple of months....then bought a copy and watched it many more times. I'm always interested in watching anything that has to do with the "Horse Whispering" method of training a horse. My favorite place to hike these days is the Wild Mustang Range outside of Lovell, WY. I'm an Artist and don't go there to see wild horses.......I go there to connect with them......they can see your Spirit. And as far as the English words not matching the lips....don't watch their lips, watch their body language....it goes along with the English words just fine.

The story of the troubled teen and troubled horse bonding in friendship has been done many times before. However, I thought this one had a little more depth than most. Yes, the voiceover is off, but what do you expect trying to match German and English. Linguistically they are very far apart. However, the voices they chose for each character was spot-on. I also liked that it didn’t have a cliché ending with them winning the contest. It was a good realistic ending. A solid 4-stars!

This is a double excellent movie. I am a horse lover although I have never owned one. This is one of the best horse movies I have seen in a long time. I was actually in tears at the ending. This movie is well worth the rental or the purchase. At first I thought it was going to be in a foreign language but how wrong I was. I have seen many horse movies but this one is at the top of my list. I would recommend it to everyone. Horses are such magnificent animals. If anyone else purchases this move they will be thoroughly please with it. Happy Horse Watching.

I liked this movie. It was originally filmed, I believe, in Germany or somewhere close to that and the original language was from that country. So the audio didn't match the video. The acting and directing left some to be desired but the story was good, the characters were lovable, except for the villain. I thought is was good.

At first I thought these characters were Japanese anime. They sound just like it. Reminds me a lot of one as far as the dialog goes but if you can get pass it then it's ok. I actually like it. But then came a scene with a song. The song is about getting high and they didn't even cut out the vulger profanity. I personally felt like it could of been avoided. I found this movie in the family section. I was watching with my young daughters. Ruined our night. Not cool.

Lovely coming of age story about an otherwise seemingly bratty teen girl who learns about a special gift she has with horses as well as some of the hard knocks in life. Don't be disappointed that the sound track is a little off. I've waited for a couple of years for this movie to come out in English, so I was patient and understanding that the English language track was not perfectly synchronized. Great story for any age to view.

So disappointed the film was dubbed over German speaking actors.Lovely film but spoilt.Can say I saw this was mentioned on selling page!!

Feel good family movie.It focuses on a young girl who discovers she has a gift when it comes to understanding horses.The riding school where the film is set, is owned by her Nan who appears to be rather anti social and very focused on getting people trained for competitive horse riding.Her Nan's star pupil makes life awkward for the leading lady but all's well in the end.A good family movie.

This is an originale German movie.The dubbing with American English voices is brutal.Stick to the original with subtiles.

formula film for children. Very predictable, with little to commend it, but generally harmless entertainment, probably best suited to young girls who think they would like a horse

I liked this film, it had a good story line as well definitely recommend it
