Different package but A+ product
Packaging not as pictured, would have preferred the vial. Take care not to get the inside of the pouch wet ... It will lead to murky water and longer hatch time. Good product, good shipping time. Will purchase again

Brine shrimp eggs worked for me.
Despite the single review on this item I thought I would take a chance. Other than the first lost shipment that Amazon corrected, I have been happy with this purchase.First, the packaging is not as shown. Rather than a vial in a blister pack, I received a small box with an aluminum pouch. No biggie.Second, this is a good value considering many offerings are 6 gram and this was 1 oz (28.35gr).Third, just completed a little experiment using the eggs.In a 1500ml glass jar I aged some tap water for a day using an air stone. Then I added 2 oz (1/4 cup) of sea salt, stirred well and let the mixture sit with the air stone on for another day. Water temp was about 78. I added just a tiny pinch of eggs which are very fine and put a CFL lamp right up to the side of the jar for low heat and light. In less than 12 hours, the first of the eggs were hatching and by the 24 hour mark I had at least a thousand nauplius stage shrimp.I will try feeding them with yeast and see if I can get them to full adulthood.Bottom line, the eggs are viable. With the proper saline mix and water temp, this little envelope of eggs should provide millions of shrimp.

I have been hatching brine shrimp eggs almost every day ...
I have been hatching brine shrimp eggs almost every day for over fifty years. For the last year the quality has gone way down and most of these do not hatch so I have to use twice as many. I have a reef tank almost fifty years old and depend on these new born shrimp for many of the fish. I wrote to the company two months ago but never got a response. They used to hatch very well, but no more.

eggs
The shipping process was great, however none of the eggs hatched, none. My daughter, who I bought it for almost cried, it was for her science project.

Ocean Star Brine Shrimp Eggs
When I ordered this, I was ordering 1 full oz. of shrimp eggs. 28.? grams... All I got is 6 grams. Looks like they finally corrected the posting. ThIs is no way to do business. Not the first one that this happened to. Amazon usually takes care of most problems. The good news, I did get a much smaller package of a name brand product. Will get some eggs soaking and then hopefully hatching and see what happens. Stay tuned. Two weeks later, nothing has been done. Paid for an ounce, got .21 oz. BUYER BEWARE !!

You Too Can Grow "Sea Monkeys" With These Eggs!
Alright, what can be said about a package of Brine Shrimp Egg Cysts? I was the recipient of an antiquated set of "Sea Monkeys" and, being a science teacher, decided to let my class participate in the reanimation of the creatures. Much to my dismay, but not to my surprise as I have had sea monkeys in the past, only one pre-historic creature hatched from the eggs. So, here was the issue: I had a Sea Monkey aquarium with one solitary Sea Monkey. The solution was, of course, to purchase more dried eggs to add in to the miniature aquarium. The Brine Shrimp Eggs did not come in a tube, but rather in a box with a re-sealable metallic plastic bag. I dumped about a tenth of the encrusted cysts into the Sea Monkey aquarium and OH-HA-LA! We now have hundreds of brine shrimp clamoring for food throughout the miniature aquarium. I do believe that this many will soon overrun the tank, but I have a friend that has fish that would gladly take some off of my hands. This is the first time that I have had a Sea Monkey set that actually worked and I owe all the credit to these eggs.

Product Not as Pictured!!
The eggs had a good hatch rate, but the product does not come in a vial as pictured. It comes in a foil envelope, making it much harder to remove the amount desired.
