sorry don't know as have packed it away with other costumes. My daughter wore it, she is age 17 average height, size 12 clothes if that helps

Does it stay in place well please?

The depth of the crown is quite good but it very much depends on the size of your head. As this is not a sized hat, it would be difficult to tell. You could buy some thin elastic and sew this in a loop inside the brim then loop the elastic under your hair at the back and discreetly grip it. But it is quite good quality for the price

The hat fits super there is elastic inside very pleased with this , myself and my partner are going out on Halloween evening to a local pub where I live he’s going as ghost face and doing the steampunk theme . Der Zylinder kam in einer Schachtel an....und ich war Hin und Weg. Hab mir nicht gedacht, dass er so schön ist. Die Federn alle schön und schwingend. Der Schleier ist genau dosiert in Menge und Länge. Die Grösse des Hutes ist einfach perfekt. Diesen Zylinder kann ich schräg, gerade oder etwas in die Stirn rein aufsetzen...und er hält Dank dem innenliegenden Gummiband. Sehr kleidsam dieser Damenzylinder. Er rundet das Outfit perfekt ab.
