Aight, I wanted to write this review cause sometimes I read reviews and I think to myself, "These are definitely bots." So i wanted to write this as a hooman in case someone thinks the same thing.-Ok so starting with the delivery. When the package got here I noticed that the box itself was a little damaged but I'm pretty sure it was just the delivery services fault. Sometimes s*** happens. The desk itself wasn't damaged at all so I wasn't worried about it.-While I was reading other people's reviews I noticed a few people were saying that it was a pain to assemble, the instructions weren't clear, you should have another person to help you, and that certain holes didn't line up perfectly. In my opinion I think people like to complain about everything and they want things to be close to Godliness. No, that's ridiculous. During assembly I had absolutely no problems. The instructions were super clear and easy to read, I did everything by myself, and it literally took me like 15 to 20 mins but I was taking my sweet time. As for the holes not lining up, if you put one screw in and tighten it down all the way before putting the rest of the screws in then yes it's not going to line up right, but that should be common sense. Just put every screw in where it should go first and don't tighten them down all the way until you feel that everything lines up. Then tighten them down one by one a little at a time. It's not that hard.-As for the quality of the desk itself, I think that for the price, it's a pretty damn good desk. It's not going to be the finest of mahogany but it's a damn good desk. There's plenty of room on it as well. The only thing I wish this desk had is one more shelf on the bottom somewhere. I've had this desk for a few months now and I haven't noticed any chipping, peeling or failing of the design at all. I would like to note that I do have some weighty things on my desk and it doesn't feel like it's bending due to weight at all.-Overall I think this is an amazing desk, especially because of the price. I am very very happy with my purchase and if I had to I would buy this one again I would. If you read this whole thing then thank you for your time and I wish you the best of luck on your desk hunt.

I had low expectations for a build it yourself Amazon desk, but I am very excited with how great this desk turned out. Overall, the cons are negligible and the pros make this more than worth the buy.pros- fantastic build quality, very sturdy- where screws for legs meet the top of the desk, there are threaded, metal holes rather than raw wood. I expect this will make a huge difference in this desk's longevity- well packaged, no damage during shipping- clearly labeled, easy to follow instructions- easily able to be built by one person- great price- screw in mounts at the bottom of each metal leg protect floors from scrapescons- shelf underneath is too small to comfortably fit the average printer or scanner, but I understand that it also is small to allow for a bit of leg room- desktop computer shelf underneath would be too small for some of the larger, custom built desktops (ie the hyte y60) and stability would suffer if it were to be removed. there is space under the middle of the desk where there's no shelf to comfortably fit a desktop, however.- because of the monitor shelf, there's a gap behind the largest piece of the top of the desk and the wall even if you opt not to built the monitor shelf. This does allow space for cords, but also would allow for things to potentially fall behind the desk.

I an very happy with this desk! I needed something that was budget-friendly (I was only willing to pay a max. of $400-ish on a desk) with a side-part to rest my dominant arm while typing to not irritate my carpal tunnel. I love the shelf to put a monitor on, though my monitor is quite large so I might purchase a separate clamp-arm-monitor-stand to install and I think this desk will support it well. I will say that I wish the width of the desk (where I place my keyboard in front of the monitor) was wider to separate myself from the monitor further (to protect my eyes). That being said, it's still a nice, wide workspace. I'm happy I made this purchase!

looks great, perfect height, no strain on my neck to look at my monitors, desktop can set on the bottom left shelf beneath the desk, its perfect.will update review if anything bad happens!assembly was easy but i had help, i dont think one person could do this on their own as easily as with help,for the money it definitely seems worth it as of this moment, i will try to update this post in 6months to a year and see if it holds the test of time! if it does it is 5 stars all around!

Package arrived quite chewed up.. which I usually expect with larger heavier packages. There were a few scratches on the lower shelf pieces but nothing else was damaged. I was able to flip the pieces so they are not seen, no big deal. Very easy to assemble. Reversible which is a huge plus. Lightweight but also sturdy. Great desk for the price! Highly recommend.

I'm pretty tall and I had to reduce my chair to minimum height. However, once that was done, the desk was perfect and I have no problems with it whatsover. I like the layout and I think it's a great desk for the price.
