Value for money
First time buying a pressure pot but it’s definitely worth the buy. As someone from an ethnic background where we cook looks of dry food such as beans. It helps speed up the cooking time. The quality of the material is great and the lid works perfectly well. I have had it for months now and it’s working perfectly fine

Convenient size
Bought this to use in a small camper van when away. It means we don’t have to rely on fried or canned food and can now cook a proper stew etc. Would like it to be a bit taller and slimmer to fit the hob better but at least it stores away in the cupboard well.

Really impressed with this! Esp audible signals and low energy input.
I have previously owned an Instant Pot and returned it. For me, this is so much better. The main difference is being able to put it under the cold tap for those times when you might worry about liquid spurting through valve release or clogging the valve with starch. We do use the valve release too when appropriate. We wanted to see how much we would use this before adding a larger pot, but having made the too large mistake with the Instant Pot, this small size is great for small jobs. Soften the skin on tough veg for easy peeling. Steam some 'boiled eggs' for easy peeling. Pasta cooked in its sauce in half the pasta cook time. Pot comes to pressure in less time than boiling a full kettle. Important to get the right size to realise the time savings.I've also previously owned a Zwilling stovetop pressure cooker with ring indicators and returned it after reading Catherine Phipps advice on how a pressure cooker should behave. This is so much better, super easy to place the sealing ring, to close the lid etc, cleaning... nothing fiddly. I feel like my doddery old dad could use this safely. It comes to pressure in no time and pressure is maintained with minimal heat, much less than the expensive Stovetop model I returned. Many models now have indicator rings which IMO is only useful if you're constantly watching your pot. With this cooker, there's a rush of steam when it reaches pressure and a whisper of steam while pressure is maintained. Manual said you've set temp too low if it goes too quiet or too loud if too high. I thought that seemed vague but actually in practice it's very easy to grasp. The manual is short but explains the important stuff well. For success, you do really need to pay attention to using it properly. In particular, get all the limescale off the base as not doing this will cause food to stick and burn.I think audible signals are so much better for a cook continuing with their kitchen tasks. But if hearing impaired or noisy kitchen, you could work with observing the steam flow. Also worth noting that some cookers at this price point don't include a trivet and basket which this one does. Tower are also good for spares, ie you will need a new sealing ring periodically.I think the only benefit to an electric cooker is the timer (get an egg timer) and the keep warm function. But honestly keeping the stovetop pot sealed will keep the contents hot for quite a while and you can easily reheat on your stove for a later diner. I personally don't think electric pressure cookers are worth the countertop space and they aren't used as often as can be if stored in a cupboard. If you were thinking of getting one, get this instead.

Simple, safe and efficient
We have been using a pressure cooker for just about everything we cook for 40 years. As there are only two people in the house mostly now we decided we needed a 3litre PC to supplement our 5litre PC and we could get rid of our ancient 7litre PC.We decided on a trivet/steamer basket support type. The stainless steel PC would be easier to clean. It took a few uses to get familiar with its foibles and subtle uses compared to our existing one. Our main use is for vegetable cooking. It is even more efficient if you put in hot water to start with. I was surprised how quickly it came to pressure - indicated by the red pressure button popping up. I was even more surprised how little heat was needed to maintain the pressure especially at the lower pressure setting. We heat it on the largest gas ring then move it to either the medium or smallest ring set at the lowest gas setting. Experience (trial & error) is needed for gauging the cooking time for how you like your vegetables; whether "soft" or with "some bite". There is some guidance in the instructions if you are new to PC cooking. Persevere if you are new, in time you'll wonder how you ever did without oneWe cool it under cold running water rather than venting or letting it cool down at room temperature as the cooking process continues during pressure reduction. There are safety warnings in the instructions. READ THEM. The pressure relief valve does vent steam if the heat supplied is too great during the cooking process. Adjust this appropriately for your cooker rings. Common sense says don't put your head over the safety valve. If you want to reduce your energy use for cooking then a Pressure Cooker will help considerably. This Tower model will certainly help. I fully recommend this model for efficiency and value for money.

No replacement rings
I found this to be a good cooker and I use it every day. The problem is I can't get a replacement ring. The Tower website is out of stock. I've been on the waiting list for months. The last review there was posted a year ago, which must be when they last sold them. So, this cooker will last exactly as long as your original ring does. How long will that be? Well, the instructions recommend replacing it every "one or two years, depending upon the amount of use". One to two years of use from a "10 yr guarantee" product is just not good enough. For this reason I'd give them 1-2 stars out of 10, which is 0-1 stars out of 5.

Decent pressure cooker
Late review, wanted to use it for a while before reviewing.Bought this via Prime since it was within my budget, arrived quickly. It looks sleek, and made of stainless steel, therefore it feels heavy. It’s also enough for 1-2 persons. It cooks my food fairly well. I have had to refer to the instruction booklet quite a few times to get used to it, and sometimes I am not happy with the timings of the whistle and the duration needed to cook the food, therefore it does take longer to cook food.It has not exploded in my kitchen due to its safety features, so there is one less stress in the kitchen. The reason I gave 3 stars is because of leakage (sometimes), and the staining of the bottom of the cooker (the base heats quickly and has burnt the food at the bottom of the cooker).

Tadellos
Ein wirklich sehr gutes Produkt. Nachdem ein kleiner Fehler am Topfdeckel festgestellt wurde, wurden problemlos und sofort die Rücksendekosten übernommen und prompt ein neuer Topf geschickt. Sehr gut. Vielen Dank! Gerne wieder !
