Someone mentioned battery life around 2 years and costly replacement. Does it come with brand new battery or depleted by sitting in the box/shelf?

Battery is pre-fitted in watch ,so no one really knows if watch left running in the box or switched off. If it was left running with all dials switched on, don't expect it to last. Mine first replacement battery cost me £60 through GOldsmiths, next time will look somewhere else as watch is out of warranty anyway..Only need to make sure that vendor is able to properly reseal watch so it maintains its water resistance.
