I am an old southern woman, who can drink up to a gallon of tea a day. temps here are way too hot to be boilin water and heatin my kitchen up. I am also a diabetic, so it was important to me to have a tea that was unsweetened. I used to be able to buy unsweet instant tea at my local grocery store, but now seems all I can find now, is the sweet stuff, or flavored sweet stuff which I am not a fan of. If I dilute it I can tolerate the sweetness, but then it has no flavor. I have tried for a few months now to get a canister of the unsweetened national brands online, but they never seem to arrive as advertised and I end up gettin a refund. Found this company, durin those searches but it always seemed to cost more than I was wanting to pay, so it was book marked and watched over. Prime days came, and prime told me this tea was nicely discounted, so I bought it to try it. I hate buyin stuff that costs me more than my normal stuff, just because, if I hate it, then Ive bought myself something I have to finish despite its taste just to not cry over what I paid. It arrived quickly and yall 4 teaspoons, to one gallon of water, no boilin, just add stir and enjoy. Powder is so fine, it disolves quickly in hot or cold water, and wow is it tasty, you can usually taste other brands were made with instant, but this stuff tastes fresh brewed every single time. I liked it enough to buy a second one, to have on hand when I run out of tea bags or want tea, but don't want to wait for it. It still cost's more than my tea bags, even when I take into consideration the time, savings, the lack of heat needed to make it. I am a frugal woman and this instant costs me about twice more than the tea bags per cup. Tea isn't a luxury for me, it is a have to have, and I have no complaints about the tea its self it is delicious, and probably worth every penny to someone else who can afford that convenience. I wish I was able to swap out my tea bags for this product, it has everything goin for it, tastes like fresh brewed, easy to make and never disappoints glass after glass, just not a feasible option for me to keep buyin beyond the for emergency purposes only, those break glass in case of ...type moments. I do however appreciate the quick shipping, the on time delivery and the fact that it was tasty enough even my guys would drink it without even knowin it was instant. It is good stuff, disolves quickly , and tastes just like fresh brewed, but I can't give up tea bags when it comes to price.

I bought the Waka Instant Black Tea Mix and it's absolutely delicious!! I use it with my homemade Chai spice blend and powdered Coconut Milk. It works perfectly for this! The caffeine gives me a little boost but doesn't make me feel jittery. Super easy to use because of the little scoop enclosed. Two level scoops for a 12oz cup of Chai is just the right amount. The grind is powdery and blends quickly and easily.

This tea is pretty good, but messy, as someone else said. The powder is so fine that it tends to spill, but I’d rather deal with that than have fillers, sweeteners and flavors some corporate product developers come up with. I mix this tea with a peach-mango flavored electrolyte powder that is sweetened with stevia and that also contains extra amino acids, and I get a perfect peach tea that is good for me. Sometimes I also add collagen powder and really treat myself well. I have a couple of 40 oz. containers that I use to get my 150 oz plus of water per day, and I have developed a little routine. I stir 5 quarter-tsps of the tea powder into some hot water in my container before I leave for work. I may add a scoop of the electrolyte powder and some ice cubes then, or I may add the powder later, along with cold bottled or filtered water at work. I like to let the tea brew a little on its own if possible. I also carry the powder in a small container with the scoop in a zip lock baggie for a refill while at work. I have tubes of electrolytes for adding on the go, so I can have 2 80 oz containers-ful per day. Adding the tea makes my electrolyte drink more refreshing. If starting with hot water isn’t possible, I still start with the tea powder in a small amount of room-temperature or cold water, and shake it a lot to mix and “brew” the tea before adding everything else. As I said above, it’s a little more work than commercially available peach tea products, but it’s worth it to me to have a sweetener that doesn’t raise my blood sugar or“fake-out” my system, and that has real tea benefits plus the electrolytes and other nutrients I need. I used to drink 64 oz plus of diet soda per day, but I have gotten clean and am treating my body better. I’ve lost 40 lbs, improved all my vitals, lost the aches and pains, and look and act younger than my 70 years of age. I also don’t take any of the usual pharmaceuticals for someone of my age and health concerns. The tea/water is only part of the story, but getting off the commercial drinks is an important part!

Don’t let the small size of the bag fool you! This tea is powerfully strong and a little goes a long way! Excellent flavor! Tastes like fresh brewed black tea! Excellent iced or hot. Did I mention it’s also a great value? Much cheaper than other products that are loaded with fake sugar and chemicals at local stores. Will definitely buy this again. Highly recommend!

"What do I look like? Some guy who's not lazy?" - Lazy Sal, Futurama. A couple reasons why this is a 5 star product for me. Firstly, I love convenience AND black tea. Am I lazy, tired, broke? Maybe, possibly, potentially. I want to preface this review by acknowledging this isn't going to replace a high end tea experience. This is my daily rider. This is my camping tea. This is my easy answer for all my wake up and pick me up moments. Let's start with taste: I like my tea straight up, black & unsweetened. I personally don't find it bitter when I make it dark & powerful. The value is incalculable. Or maybe it IS calculable. All I know is, it's better than bad, it's GOOD! More like great but had to slip in the Ren & Stimpy Log reference. I really like that I can mix the temperature of the water to my preference, ez pz. I also like how easy it is to mix, I use a shaker style bottle with a closed top. It's a shake and go situation. Blending with this method works really well, leaving a smooth texture of the prepared tea. I really like that I can drink it throughout the day. In the morning, I make it darker, by lunch I am mixing a lighter shade of tea. And I need to note, when I am heavy handed with the amount of mix, the final product packs a PUNCH. The only heads up I want to give (see photo) which I learned the first time I mixed up a cup is the underside of the scoop will pick up loose product. So save yourself the small mess and tap the scoop before you fill the scoop side. HUZZAH!

Flavor is great, but recommend making in small quantities or by the glass. It turns cloudy very quickly and leaves stronger stains than normal/other brands

This product is black tea ground so fine you can not detect any grit. It is quite concentrated as 1/4 tsp is enough for a 6 oz cup. You just pour hot water in a cup, dump in the tea, and stir a bit. It is effectively an instant tea; however this product tastes much better than traditional instant tea. I like the tea as my workplace has a hot water dispenser, but it is not hot enough for black tea bags, but it is fine for this tea. It is so concentrated that it is easy to make iced tea, but the tea must be made from hot tea and then cooled. There is a Japanese green tea (Matcha) that is made the same way. Try it!

I am lazy, and generally want to just quickly make my drink and go back to what I am doing. I have found this to be a very close match to brewing tea. I say this after trying what feels like alot of instant black tea mixs. Quality is good, its not breaking the bank and taste is good just buy it.

Great for iced tea! Don’t have the patience for wait for tea to cool down then this is for you. I mix this with my good host mix to achieve a less sweet iced tea

Better than I expected it to be, after I actually followed the instructions. It makes many more cups of tea than you think it would (over 150 even if you like extra powder) First cup made with this was FAR too strong and tasted like chemicals but that's because I thought I really liked strong tea and put in a half teaspoon when the instructions said to put in 1/4 a teaspoon. Putting in the right amount makes a decent cup of tea, not quite as good as my normal english breakfast but for the convenience of not needing to wait for it to steep on days that the wait seems too much or that I literally forget that I was steeping some tea, it is more than good enough. Unfortunately after about half of the pack was used, one side of the resealable plastic part came off the side but that's pretty minor.

Love it!! Instant tea at your finger tips, you can control the strength by adding more or less instant tea.
