NIVEA MEN Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm with Zero Percent Alcohol (100 ml) After Shave Balm for Men, Men's Skin Care and Shaving Essentials

I recently went back to an electric shaver (my daughter said I was too spiky for cuddles!) and have been experiencing some pretty bad rashes and itchy patches on my neck. I bought this and it's reduced the issues by a good 90%. Most shaves since I got this balm are fine with no itchiness or rashes and in one occasion I had some light issues. The lid is a little odd shaped, but that's a minor thing which is a gentle annoyance rather than an actual issue.

I’ve used Nivea aftershave balm for many years and have to say it’s a fantastic product, I’ve tried many others along the way but nothing comes close, it’s a little more expensive than the competition but it’s well worth the money especially if you have sensitive skin. I also find one bottle lasts along time as it’s thinner than other products so you don’t need to apply as much.

This pack of 3 is amazing value for money plus the actual product is fantastic. I do have sensitive and am unable to shave every day (every other day at best) so I have found this cooling balm to be very helpful indeed.The packaging is good quality and it the bottle is glass/ceramic rather than a squeezable tube. The actual balm itself flows easy from the container and you don't need to use at all, in fact it would be good as an every day conditioner too as it soaks into the skin quickly and cools down any shaving burn quite fast.

I have not necessarily sensitive skin, but it's fairly dry and if I don't apply any type of moisturiser after shaving, my skin will definitely dry up.The consistency is very liquid-y compared to other moisturisers that I've used, but you don't have to use much at all to spread it all over your face and neck, so this should last me for a very, very long time.One problem is that for me, is that it doesn't quite keep my skin moisturised in the worst dry areas of my skin (around nose and below lip). This is something that my last post-shave cream COULD do - 'No7 Men Soothing Post Shave Recovery Balm', but this is much more expensive.The bottles that they come in seems to be made of glass or a very hard plastic, not sure. The lid has a very satisfying click when you twist it to seal which is nice.There is some light fragrance in the product but nothing overwhelmingly strong.Overall, it's very good value for money and would probably still buy again and just use some other moisturiser to apply on my problem areas.

I've been using this for years. I always add a dash of menthol before I put it on my face. I have been wet shaving since I was a teenager and more recently I have been into proper DE shaving with a safety razor. More so in the last year since Gillette decided to show its contempt towards its majority customer base. Why people use cartridge razors that cost a fortune and give a rubbish shave, I'll never know. Anyway this stuff is lovely, but if you want to give your freshly shaven face a treat, get some Proraso pre shave cream and use it after a shave. It's wonderful.

Good product as used before and like scent, kind to your skin after shaving and soothing. Apply small amount at a time, so you don't have to keep rubbing your face till balm has been absorbed, good value as well due to package size.

Very nice and soothing. The smell is also good too and not intrusive. I prefer it to the regular NIVEA sensitive balm, as it is more cooling and soothing. It also seems to do good work on razor bumps with a couple of applications and has helped get rid of them with systematic use. The regular sensitive balm did not help that much.

One of the best I have used for sensitive skin after shaving, the previous one from Nivea included alcohol, which stung slightly, but took that to be good. This one doesn't sting at all, and cools and calms the skin perfectly. Also noticed that this one sinks in more, whereas previous products have sat on the skin and made them greasy or shiny.And amazon have made this great value - pack of 3 for less than 1 1/2 in supermarkets!
