Collapsible Silicone Microwave Hot Air Popcorn Popper Bowl With Lid and Handles (Red)

Very impressed and happy. I put in small handful of kernels and a knob of butter for taste. Ready in 3 minutes in my 700w microwave, no burnt popcorn or kernels. I added a bit of salt after. A few kernels didn't pop, so put those back in for a minute. Easier and tastier than making in a pan. Cheaper and tastier than the microwave popcorn you can buy in a bag. Such good value. I have a small kitchen, so having a collapsible bowl is great for storage.

Really simple, yet great product. It's just two rubber parts: the bowl and the lid. You throw your popcorn in, stick in some butter and salt, gently put the top on then microwave until it stops popping. I'd recommend wrapping a tea-towel or something around your hand when you take the lid off, as the steam can get really hot, but it's not necessary. For extra flavour, once you get it out of the microwave, throw in some melted butter to coat the popcorn and sprinkle in some nutritional yeast for a healthy cheese flavour and give it a shake. Cleaning it easy as it's just rubber, and storage is a breeze because you can push it down flat.

This popcorn maker is incredible. So easy to use and just amazing. We can't believe how easy it is and how efficiently and quickly it pops pop perform without melting and any containers. If you're looking for that perfect cinema Saturday night treat popcorn then this is the way forward. It tastes absolutely incredible. Yesterday I didn't like popcorn today I do. It folds down so easily and it heats up so efficiently making it easy to store and easy to wash. The top is no bigger than the span of your hand. It seems like it will last us a very long time we can't wait to continue using it in the future however there were a couple downsides. It does seem a bit flimsy because one side stands a bit lower than the other and unfortunately not all the popcorn kernels popped but that may just be our part.

Where to start? This was the best purchase I've made in a long while being that I am a HUGE popcorn fan. In the box you get a good sized collapsible bowl with a lid that sits inside about half way in the bowl (so popped corn gently pushes the lid up in the bowl during popping) The only faults are: 1. The instructions printed on the box do not inform you that the bowl should be standing up in the microwave (the collapsible part is simply just for ease of storage and does not aid in the popping process; if it is collapsed in the microwave you'll be picking out all the popcorn that flew out of the bowl.) 2. That the handles are "cool touch". I would advise getting your oven mitts to pull it out of the microwave and taking the lid off as it gets too hot to touch. My go-to method is a teaspoon of rapeseed oil and salt in with the 50g of popcorn (if you're a calorie counter it doesn't add up to much so win; you could actually use even less or eat it plain). I also mix this in a separate small bowl before putting it into the microwaveable bowl just in case extra oil was the cause of the brown base some people have complained of. I have used it over 10 times now and have had no problems. The negative reviews tend to say: -Half the popcorn is getting burnt. SOLUTION: If you collapse the bowl you will see indented in the same colour as the actual bowl there two rings at the bottom that say "50g" and "100g". (Easy to miss- I did the first time). Fill to either level; depending on the wattage of your microwave you will see which one works best (just remember to pull the bowl back up to standing position). For me it was 50g, which only takes two minutes to pop all but a few kernels (like microwave popcorn, just listen to when it gets to a few seconds between the pops to stop the microwave). When I did try 100g it did burn half so... To get a regular microwave bag popcorn yield I have to do this twice each time, but I don't really mind, as it's cheaper, healthier and tastes a lot better. (Just for that added surety I also popped a microwaveable bag of it to taste the difference and ate them side-by-side naughty me!) I had previously bought a popcorn machine and used the standard stove top, but with the latter found my quantities of oil and popcorn to be exceedingly unhealthy and with the former air popped, spit out chewy cardboard like popcorn which was just- ew. I had almost given up until a spot of late night shopping I stumbled upon this magical creation. Honestly it's a product the manufacturers should be proud of and I am proud to own it!

Absolutely perfect...100% popping of kernels, literally no unpopped kernels, easy to add sugar and salt, easy to clean...perfect popcorn every time. The size is easily big enough for 2-4 people. Excellent!!

I've tried two different brands of kernels with this, and it always leaves about 1/3 of the kernels unpopped. I've tried leaving them in longer (more than 5 mins at 900w and it burns), reducing the microwave power from 900w to 80% and trying 4-6 mins (still burns over 5 mins and still leaves 1/3 kernels unpopped); I've tried removing the popped corn and putting the unpopped kernels back in (only a small amount pop, the rest will burn fairly quickly). I've tried with and without oil, with and without salt. So it does feel quite wasteful. On the plus side, the kernels that do pop are quite nice, fluffy and not chewy.

This is a much better solution than the bulky machine I bought which broke down shortly after purchasing. It works well.

I’m so happy I bought this! This popcorn maker is easy to use and makes the best popcorn. I use one teaspoon of butter and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. After eating, my hands aren’t greasy and I’m not suffering from thirst due to all the salt. This popcorn reminds me of the popcorn we ate every night in our college dorm. It’s so much better being able to control the salt and not have any grease. I had become used to the bags you throw in the microwave and this popcorn is so much better. There are no ingredients to color the popcorn, keep it fresh, or flavorings. I’ve just ordered an airtight container to keep the kernels fresh and free from moisture. It washes up nicely and folds easily for storage. I recommend buying this.

Malesef misirlarima yetmedi :) Urun gercekten parasini hak ediyor. Misir patlatmak ve sonrasinda tencereyi yikamak benim icin iskenceye donusmustu. Tesekkurler amazon.

Accessoire ingénieux et très pratique pour faire du popcorn maison sans huile. Il suffit de verser les grains de maïs, de placer le couvercle et de mettre au micro-ondes : en moins de 3 minutes, le popcorn est prêt. Le silicone est souple et supporte parfaitement la chaleur du micro-ondes. Le bol se replie à plat, ce qui est vraiment pratique pour le rangement. Le nettoyage est simple, il passe sans problème au lave-vaisselle. Résultat : un popcorn léger et sans ajout de matières grasses, bien meilleur que les sachets industriels. Je l'utilise plusieurs fois par semaine, sans aucune défaillance constatée. Un achat malin pour une collation saine et rapide.
