Speed Square with 14 Types of Drill Holes, 7inch Metric Triangle Ruler

Well made, strong and has a lot of uses.

I picked up this speed square as I needed it for some DIY projects that I have going on and needed something sturdy. This definitely ticks all the boxes for me as it's made from aluminium and it is genuinely square (I have checked this). A great bonus from this square is the 14 drill holes that range from 3mm to 15mm, meaning you could pilot holes wherever you like and know they are where they should be. The whole thing weighs around 200 grams so it is light to hold comfortably yet it feels solid. The T shaped base is widened which helps it keep it steady against the edge of whatever it is you need to draw lines on or cut and is good for accuracy. The engraved scale is clear and easy to read and so far after a few uses it doesn't feel like it will start to wear off. For general woodwork, furniture or DIY work it hits the mark nicely and I would recommend this square.

A very useful tool for woodworking , metalwork etc. Well made, strong and measurements clearly marked. To get full use out of this versatile tool I watched several videos on You Tube which were very instructive.

Great addition to toolbox. I've already used most of the features, but still scratch my head every time with the angle markers because they're counterintuitive to my mind. Anyway, that's my problem, the design itself is great! My only regret is that it's aluminium, and therefore it dents quite easily when you drop it on hard ground, which I tend do all the time. Again, that's "user error" but worth bearing in mind if you're an ADHD klutz like me.

This is a simple, handy speed square and the quality is better than I expected for the price. It’s lightweight, easy to use and the writing and markings are clear, which makes quick measurements really straightforward. It definitely sits in the cheap-and-cheerful category, but it works exactly as needed. I’m not entirely sure how long it will last compared to more expensive versions, but it was so inexpensive that even a few years of use would still be good value for money. A practical little tool to keep in the kit.

It is not 90 degrees and arrived damaged, even though the package was intact. Also the manual is absurd. It asks to disconnect the power supply.
