I cannot stress this enough, do not buy this product. It came not at all like the pictures displayed and including no wiring, instructions, or anything past a tin case and one tiny heating rod. This product truly is a waste of your money.

Works great. Very hot! Top wire is your hot it says like 110 volt and the bottom isn't labeled and that's your negative.

I needed to replace on element on my sauna, I enlarged the cutout hole for the new element, the new element comes with two wires, one on each end of the tube, hook up a 110...black to one and the white to the other turn on. Easy Peasy! and it looks good....feels good!

These heat up much faster than regular ceramic rods. It adds a soothing red light tot the sauna

I bought 2 to add to my dynamic ir sauna, so that a) out can get hotter and b) i can turn them on on a schedule with a smart outlet to warm up the sauna. I wired them up temporarily and the breaker doesn't flip (which happened with the space heater I put in) so I'm happy. Nice red glow too. They are fragile but once they're installed permanently in a shallow cutout they'll be fine. As one reviewer noted there are no wiring instructions. This is because every sauna is different if you want to wire them into the main power. I wired them to an independent plug as I said. Each wire from the heater to one of the 2 wires in a romex or other wire (i used 10g speaker wire), add this to a 110v plug. It doesn't matter which wire goes where as the electricity can flow in either direction through this type of heater. If you're not comfortable doing this ask your closest neighbor with red power tools :) or hire an electrician who will feel guilty for taking your money for something so simple.
