The previous kitchen tap was so over and poorly designed with a spray arm and a stubby main arm that only cleared the sink by 5cms so I was in many ways glad when it broke and needed replacing.This Grohe tap is so good. The plumber had it fitted in no time at all and without any trouble. The clean and simple design is very pleasing to the eye and after years of living with a stubby tap, it is a delight to be able to wash and fill anything and everything without flooding the whole surface.It works perfectly, is extremely well designed and feels very solid and good quality. I am delighted with this tap.

Good finish, the mixer is great. Easy to install. But, the weight on the extended lead is not enough to pull it back in place automatically. Had to order another set of weights on eBay. Works well now.

Lovely tap. However got it fitted and water pressure was terrible. Just a trickle. After a week I went out and bought another tap. The whole experience has ended up costing me a fortune. Will pay attention to the reviews in future. You really need good water pressure for this tap to work

The order was delivered by Amazon on the next day as advertised.Pluses: high quality tap - all parts fit perfectly and the tap feels good when operated, smooth movements, impeccable water flow in both regimes; stylish brushed stainless steel finish - looks very nice in our kitchen with wooden worktop; comes with assembly kit and clear instructions for installation making it simple for DIYers, like myself, to install it (additional tools you need include 2 wrenches for tightening connections); prompt delivery by Amazon.Minuses: the extractable hose is 10cm shorter than it could have been for more comfortable use. The insufficient length is especially noticeable if you have big and deep sink like we do making it difficult to reach all corners; European inlet hoses have G3/8’’ (15mm) female diameter which does not fit the UK G1/2’’ (ca 20mm) male standard diameter for connection to the water mains. The seller does not offer addapters as an option and does not even mention this issue may arise. I had to do my own research to find and purchase adapters on internet which resulted in two extra days of delay with installation and cost me 9 pounds for a pair plus express delivery (I didn’t have time to go and buy it in the shop myself). Make sure you buy adapters, sealing tape and extra rubber washers in advance to avoid delays; finally, brushed stainless steel finish is vey susceptible to finger prints and water marks. What I found useful is to spray a little bit of WD40 lubricant on the cloth and polish the surface slightly. It fixes the problem quickly.Other than that, great product. It is too early to comment about reliability.

Bought to replace a worn out mixer tap in our utility room. Well wrapped quality product that feels like it will last years. Easy to fit but I needed to change my isolating valves from a standard 15mm outlet to a probably more modern 10mm size. Looks great and working well so all happy!

This is as functional as it it beautiful. I've been looking for a suitable replacement for my kitchen for quite sometime. I needed one with some hight as I had to keep putting the kettle in the sink to fill it up. It is a delight to use and a lovely upgrade to my kitchen. In this case you get that you pay for although my last one was expensive and no where near the quality of this.As for fitting... my husband replace it himself...he's not a plumber in any way shape or form!... So if you're wondering as I did..can it be done at home the answer is yes. Check out a few You Tube videos first and read and re read the instructions. Make sure you have an extra pair of hands to help when levelling it up etc.

I’ve had several Grohe taps and shower valves. They are always well designed. Always feels well made with good finish. The valves are always smooth to operate and seems to last very well. I can’t comment on longevity of this model but if it is like the rest of my Grohe then it should be fine. This tap’s built and finish is just as good as any Grohe I’ve own.The installation is super easy. I’ve installed several kitchen taps before and already own special tools like the long hollow hex tubes. But this Grohe doesn’t require any special tools to install! You will need adapter to covert from the Euro size hose to UK but no big deal. 2 spanners are all you need.Specific to the design of this model, there isn’t a lot of flat surface. This means less standing water leaving lime scale marks on the tap body. If you live in soft water area, you probably won’t appreciate the difference between this rounder design.

This item was delivered today, just in the manufacturers box, BUT the lid was unsecured. There was evidence of two types of tape, neither type holding it closed.Will amend the review if the plumber doesn't find any parts missing!Continued ...Now fitted, it fulfils our requirements but it has one significant drawback. It needed 8mm pipe adapters & because we are a "standard" type of two story UK house, only gravity pressure on the hot water, the hot supply is restricted & has a very low flow rate.I suspect that this design is really intended for pressurised systems only but there is NO mention of what water pressure the tap is designed for in the Amazon posting, not even Grohe's technical sheet.Unfortunately we shall probably have to install a booster pump as well!
