Kurt Adler Battery-Operated Lava Light Tree, 14-Inch, Clear and Silver

My Aunt had one at her house Christmas Eve. After sitting and watching hers I went online and purchased one myself. Great holiday decoration or gift. Beautiful and fun to watch.

Received so many compliments. Purchased 4!

Used the tree for about a month last year; packed it away to use again this year and now the motor to stir the glitter doesn't work.

These trees add an elegant touch to any Holiday display, or by itself. One of the 2 trees I bought had a defective motor and had to be returned. Amazon had the replacement to me in a matter of a couple days, and it works great. Would definitely buy this product again, but will always check the motor prior to gifting.

I was so excited when I ordered this lamp. Who would want a Christmas tree lava lamp? I finally got, put the batteries in and I couldn’t believe the noise it makes! I thought it would go off once it warmed up and the lava started to glow. Well, no lava and still the noise. It’s just glitter in glycerin oil with a light. This is going to be a return for me. I’m very saddened.

I have two of these, one from here and one from a local store. The first year they were perfect! Then the second year (this year) they have both lost an inch or two of liquid. They are totally sealed and do not leak. I read that the liquid is probably part water and part glycerine (to make it thicker than water) and the water will actually evaporate through the plastic on a snowglobe. I wish I knew a hack to refill these each year and ensure no actual leaking.

This was a gift and the recipient adored it. She even took a video of it for me. It was beautiful in her glass tree collection!

I love these!! So pretty!! I had three of them. However, I think the manufacturer should make some adjustments:1. The plastic needs a better finish. They were all received with scratches on them.2. These should be marked as fragile for delivery or tested before shipping. If not, it probably leads to my next comment:3. As some buyers have mentioned, it makes a loud noise when turned on.....I’m guessing because the delivery was not handled properlyI returned the one that made a loud noise (I wish I took a video of the sound before doing so)

Love these. They look spectacular at night during Christmas, but you can’t buy just one. A few of them together on the mantle lights up the room like a disco ball lava lamp
