Thomas Trains, durable, colorful and fun
We have collected a lot of the Thomas universe toys and this was consistent with other ones we have. Vibrant colors, large switch for little hands and easy to turn on/off. We haven’t broken one yet, so I would say they are pretty durable. They work on the floor or with all of the Thomas tracks.

They just keep going and going!
My twins got 4 of these for their second birthday and they are definitely durable! They get tossed around, left running in a pile up on the tracks, or sent under the couch to run for hours. All still run great. They have amazing traction and go across my flooring and carpet easily. Absolutely would buy these again, worth every penny.

Durable and long battery life
My son loves these! They connect with the others we have and the battery life lasts longer than others we have. Fit with any Thomas train track set.

Great Addition
My boys each got 2 trains in their stockings fo4 Christmas. I thoifht I purchased all motorized trackmastera but ruens out.Salty was the only one capable to.driving himself along the track lol. That being said, he was a great value, abd an interesting unique character new to my kiddos large collection. I csny really speak.yo the battery life as we've played with it for 2 days of so thus far, but it's fun, able to pull other non motorized trains and accessory cars, with vivid details like the hazard front bumper and wooden/hay logs he carries. Slim

Arrived damaged
The toy itself is fine but the packaging was damaged. This is a birthday present for my son, so that was disappointing

Spending and Red, that's James!
The reboot "All Engines Go" has brought with surprsies a plenty, but thankfully it has brought us some quality merch. James looks practically spot-on to how he looks on screen. His bright red paint gleams in the sunlight, and his yellow stripes are neatly applied. His face is 2D save his nose, and has a jovial smile printed on.He's heavy before you put in the batteries, meaning he's a strong puller. He uses the same motorized chassis unit as the other new engines, which takes 2 AA batteries and has the new, long red switch. He can haul an impressive load on the grey track, but I bet those toothed drive wheels help quite a bit too!James here is longer than Thomas, Percy, Nia, and the others, but still takes curves fine.My only real issue is the tender, which looks fine from most angles, but has strange gaps in the front and back when viewed from the top. Perhaps an issue with production, or a render error they overlooked? The tender coupling is also quite long, but it isn't an issue when taking curves or hills. It should be noted that the new style engines do not clear some tunnels or bridges, so bear that in mind when running this lad as well. Don't want any scuffs on his jet black funnel!Regardless, he performs well, looks really splendid as James should, and comes highly recommend from this Thomas fan.
