The cable allowed seamless connectivity between an iPad and a sound mixer for live music gigs. The build quality is solid, and the sound transmission is clear with minimal interference, and it has provided reliability so far. It would have been useful to have some longer length options available.

Solves the loud "pop" on play.
Musician? Singer? Use a tablet for backing tracks but can't go down the bluetooth route as you need seperate stereo output? Been using the headphone socket and experience a distinct "thud" when you select next song? This solves it as (I'm guessing) the DAC conversion goes down a different route. The thud is basically the headphone amp switching on and this bypasses that. Same volume, actually better quality (no hiss).

not studio quality 24bit
I was hoping i could save a few pounds on an interface by using this instead... Playback quality in windows is limited to 16bit 48000hz so not really any good for studio monitors (using the presonus eris 3.5) Might be a suitable solution depending on your use case.
