Left Me Satisfied!
Meet Marcus "Slick" Smith, a young Black man growing up in Philadelphia, PA. Working in a warehouse, he is simply trying to make enough money to get by. Brian "King" Jackson is one of Marcus' two closest friends. As Slick watches King sleep his way to stardom in their city, he envies his notoriety and his seemingly never-ending cash flow. Eventually, King reveals that his secret claim to fame is an internet escort service that one of his many girlfriend's has set up for him via an internet website. Executive women from the girlfriend's place of employment pay top dollar for the services of "The Satisfier". While Slick and King rack up the dough, they keep their seedy business from the third member of their trio, Jamal "Redd" Cornell, who is living with the mother of his son, and is desperately trying to live the life of an honest family man.A fast-paced chain of events erupts in this crime-ridden, violent, sexually-charged urban tale about friendship and loyalty. This novel could benefit from some editing and deeper character exploration (hence the three star review), but it definitely kept my attention and was a very entertaining read. At many times during the story, I envisioned the book being made into a screenplay. It read very much like a movie - one that I would definitely pay to see. If you're looking for a quick and exciting peek into the dark world of gangsters and crimebosses, The Satisfier by Nathaniel Daley is a must read!

Do NOT Buy
While I would love to commend the writer for completing his first book, I can't. This book was horrible. I found too many grammatical mistakes to take "The Satisfier" seriously. Elaboration was needed in setting up the plots and describing the characters. Also, there needed to be a much better transition from one scene to the next. The storyline was not realistic (too fairytale) and required a greater degree of background knowledge before presentation within the book's text. I wasted my $8.00 on this book, which could have been spent on a better reputable writer...

Fast paced, action packed book
The satisfier had action and drama on almost every single page...although i found it a very interesting story line, i would have loved for the author to go more in depth on the characters...to give me a little more of the story...for the first time out, i think Nathaniel did a pretty good job...
