Why did you choose this product over others?: Perfect! We got the 500 one, honestly was probably a little too big for our window, but that's on us! We just tied the excess up with an elastic band. Fits really snug, apart from one small little bit near the handle. We have just a standard push out window since we live in a flat and a lot of air conditioners don't come with suitable window kits for them, so this really helped and now we can use our air con, no issues! :)

Excellent and easy to install. Works very well - No problems at all with installation. Make sure you clean the window frame thoroughly and take your time.

Got 400cm and 300cm for two windows. After reading reviews, I put down a separate double nanotape layer first before putting velcro tape on. It's not complicated to install but it is a bit of faff and you'll end up just leaving it on through summer, heatwave or not, because of effort put in to install it. It does the job well enough. My vent sits more or less on the bottom of window frame so the top part of seal doesn't have much weight dragging it down. If you have only one vent, which I assume is the case of most of us, using 3 of 4 zippers for the seal at top of vent really helps to seal the gap as much as possible and the zippers don't slide.

I was happy with it at first - easy enough to install and did a good job but now after less than 2 weeks (and I haven’t even been opening and closing the window so it’s not been shifted about at all) and all the adhesive has come off so it’s absolutely useless & I’ll have to buy another :( shame because if it stuck properly it would be perfect

There are a few different makers for window seals required when operating a portable air conditioner. I’ve only installed and used this one. Important to carry-out the simple measurements as specified in the Amazon page. Instructions on how to install it are pretty good though would be better with a more detailed explanation. I found a good video on YouTube which set me up nicely and with confidence. It now works as well as I expected.

Does the job however peel off leaving an awful sticky residue that I had to buy something to remove from the window

The fact that my wife and I were able to install this in the world’s hottest bedroom, on the hottest day in June EVER, without arguing, is a testament to the product.

Ho acquistato questa guarnizione per poter utilizzare il condizionatore portatile (pinguino) con la finestra aperta, senza disperdere il fresco e far entrare il caldo. Devo dire che è stata un’ottima scelta! L’installazione è semplice e veloce, la guarnizione si adatta bene al telaio della finestra e il velcro tiene perfettamente. Il tubo del pinguino si inserisce senza problemi e rimane ben fissato, evitando che l’aria calda rientri. . Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, lo consiglio a chiunque abbia un pinguino e voglia migliorare l’efficienza del raffreddamento senza fare lavori invasivi.
