I HATE WEARING FOUNDATION
I HATE WEARING FOUNDATION. I hate all aspects of it: applying it, blending it in, making sure I've actually got the right color for my complexion (that's a huge challenge for me), and I don't like the way foundation feels on my face. And if there is any odor in it--be it floral/antiseptic/doesn't matter, I cannot STAND it---drives my sinuses crazy. I'm GREAT with blush, mascara, eye liner, lipstick, but for at least two decades I've been at war with foundation. Unfortunately, my emerging age spots meant I needed to try something. I read a zillion reviews of different foundations here on Amazon and went with this one (LORAC Golden Light). I was pretty sure I'd be tossing it out after one attempted use, BUT I'm amazed I LIKE THIS FOUNDATION. The color is perfect, application is so easy even I can do it really well, and it does not feel remotely heavy on my face (I forget I have it on). And it DOES cover imperfections quite well. I cannot detect a smell at all, so my sinuses are safe. I'm thrilled I finally found a foundation that actually works--I'm still a bit surprised. If you are a person who really doesn't like the whole foundation scene, this one just might work for you.

Love as much or more than Natural Performance
Shade names with numbers:PS1- FairPS2- Golden LightPS3- LightPS4- Light BeigePS5- Medium BeigePS6- Medium TanPS7- Golden TanPS8- TanAll shades should match up with old natural performance “NP” numbers. Example, my old NP5 matches up perfectly with PS5.If you’re looking to replace the discontinued Lorac Natural Performance foundation then this is for you. I about died when that foundation was discontinued because every foundation breaks me out. This new one has friendly ingredients and the same finish as Natural Performance did. The only difference I’ve noticed is it’s a lot thinner and it allows me to apply more like a serum with my fingers which I like, but it doesn’t seem as buildable though. Overall, I am so thankful to have this as a replacement for the old natural performance and have purchased many times.

LORAC SHEER POREFECTION - NICE FOUNDATION ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WITH SENSITIVE ACNE-PRONE SKIN
Even though I am now a senior citizen, I still have very sensitive skin that breaks out very easily from ingredients such as oils, fragrance, talc, and silicone. I also like a foundation that does not contain any dangerous ingredients, such as parabens or propylene glycol (an ingredient that's in anti-freeze!). Therefore I have to be very diligent about checking the ingredient lists before purchasing a foundation. If you check the ingredient list you will see that there are many good-for-your-skin ingredients in Lorac's Sheer Porefection foundation, such as: papaya fruit extract, lemon fruit extract, olive leaf extract, retinyl palmitate (a form of Vitamin A), and tocopheryl acetate, (vitamin E).Although this foundation leaves your skin slightly greasy after first applying it, it settles down and adjusts to your skin, giving it a sheer to medium coverage as well as a soft, healthy glow. The pump can be controlled in such a way that you will get less product if you so desire. The great thing about this container and pump is that you will get your money's worth; every single bit of foundation comes out of the bottle!I used to purchase Sheer Porefection at Ulta and have been using it for the past three years or so, but when I found out that they no longer carry this formula and now offer Lorac's newest foundation formula instead, I was happy to see that Amazon still carries this discontinued formula. I just wish that the description for this product also included the numbers next to the shade colors from light to dark because I went by the list that one of the reviewers had posted (which was incorrect), and ended up ordering a color that I already had which is actually a little too dark for me. If you have light skin like me, then you would need PS1 or PS2, which is not available here on Amazon. If you have medium toned skin, then PS3 (Light Beige, which is unavailable here on Amazon) or PS4 (Golden Light) would probably work for you. Golden Light is darker than Light Beige, and it looks like Golden Light is actually the lightest shade they offer, so it looks like I will be giving BaeBlu Organic Lux Liquid foundation a try next.I added pictures of the shades that I have been using so that you can see the colors, but keep in mind that the color on the right -- Golden Light -- is the only shade of these two that is still available. I hope this added information will be helpful to some of you in choosing the right shade of Lorac Sheer Porefection foundation to match your skin color if you are in the light/medium range. I think you will like this foundation while it is still available to purchase!

Do Better
Oh, Lorac. I was going to give you 5 stars, I really loved your product, until I went and read some reviews. How in the world do you justify TAN as your darkest shade!?!? Thereare POC that do not fit in any category even close to what you have to offer. Shame on you! I’ve used your product for 5 years, but must bid farewell. Btw, I’m light beige, and fit well into your shades, but come on, you can do better.

Best foundation ever
I absolutely love love love this foundation. I have mostly oily skin but it can be combination with the changing of seasons. I love that you don't need much to make a difference and how natural it looks. It goes on very easy and isn't streaky or cakey. I'm not of "a little goes a long way" so sometimes I only use this on my problem spots like under my eyes or where there's redness. I match it with too faced concealer stick which is just out of this world. Those two products together are like magic. Definitely a forever buyer unless they change the formula.

Great Coverage & Good for Sensitive Skin
I love this foundation from Lorac. I started using Lorac products about 3 years ago after being a die hard bare minerals user for 6+ years. My face had changed and I needed a different foundation. Lorac provides excellent coverage! It hides my blemishes and blotchiness very well. I am not only impressed with this Lorac product but also the concealer and the foundation, similar to this one, but includes SPF. Huge fan on Lorac and highly reccomend. I have sensitive skin so I can't use any harsh makeups or soaps without my face breaking out. I have normal skin with a T-zone. This foundation does not leave an oily finish in though it is a liquid foundation. It dries very nicely. I only need to apply it in the morning before I leave for work and it lasts all day. If my husband and I are going out to dinner, I may do a little touch up, but that's all (and only if I have the time). Highly recommend all Lorac products I've used.
