Sonata quasi una fantasia in C sharp minor, Op. 27 No. 2 ('Moonlight'): from Vol. II (Signature Series (ABRSM))

I was playing from an ancient copy of this piece and my grandson, who is learning it asked if I could get a better copy.. my memories of ABRSM scores is quite positive, so I ordered this one and I’m not disappointed. Excellent value for money!

This was purchased for someone who is training to be a Piano Teacher so they were very pleased to receive this and one other as a gift.However this was something I purchased for them to simply enjoy playing as well as the music for the piece they were practicing for the Teaching Exam.The person was extremely pleased.The delivery and packaging was good.

O.K. Print size not as large as I would have hoped and liked. however, a true tour de force of Beethoven`s. A wonderful piece to listen to and play. The ever popular and lyrical 1st mvt. followed by a short bridge-like middle mvt., leading to a torrent of notes beginning the perpetual motion final mvt. A great sonata, in the true meaning of the word. This will remain a much-loved work forever.

Beethoven’s beautiful, timeless music well presented in a visually appealing book. Also comes with notes to suggest how to tackle the more difficult passages, especially in the third movement.

This book is wonderful and really well made. I am every happy with my purchase.

this set of publications by ABRSM is very nice.. the gold covers are a plus as they create quite a sophisticated look for the pieces.
