Very sturdy and easy to use.
Very sturdy bench. I am able to change from table to bench with one hand, firmly squeezing the plastic lever. Also I am able to change the position of the bench easily by rotating it. Some other reviews said these 2 things were difficult to do for a single person but i found otherwise. Maybe it would be tricky for those with mobility issues or if not any upper body strength. I canโt completely pick it up, so maybe this is what they meant. But with 2 people that would be easy. Found bits of it tricky to put together, but not impossible. It took me about 3-4hours including unboxing & deciphering instructions. I would say it was mostly difficult because some of the predrilled holes werenโt 100% lined up. But this will differ for everyone im sure. I used a hammer to align some of it, but i think i hurt some of the paint work so wouldn't recommend anyone else doing that as it might rust in the future.

Sturdy and weatherproof
This is a great bench - it has a coated metal frame and the โwoodโ appears to be plastic but is so cleverly done it looks and feels like wood. I didnโt want something which needed painting so this is perfect. It has rained on it a few times already, and the water sits on it in beads, so it is resisting the rain well as itโs not soaking in as it would do with wood. The frame, which is designed to allow it to be used either as a seat or a picnic bench, does take up quite a bit of space and the whole thing is quite heavy - but that just makes it very solid and sturdy. I think it will last for years. It arrived well packed and the โseatโ and โtable/seat backโ are already built, arriving ready made. The frame is the only thing which needs building but this does really need two people to support it while fixing. Itโs well made and worth the money. I would definitely buy it again.

Decent quality and converts easily from bench to table, tools not the best
We were very hopeful of these benches. ordering two. At least, we hoped that they will not need to be as regularly maintained as the wooden type. Please see my photos. Firstly, these are very heavy, do not think that you will be able to lift or manage to build these yourself, you will need help and then you will also need plenty of time and patience. The included manual is alright. It is reasonably detailed but also has QR codes to link you to videos to watch on the construction, they can be helpful. I would strongly suggest reading through the manual and watching those videos, and I'm a typical guy who would skimp those..! In one long carboard sleeve you will find a large metal support, but tucked away at the bottom, we initially thought they were missing, are the two black plastic handles. Just be careful that you do not miss them..! It is noted that you will need a pair on long nosed pliers, and we did. They are for attaching the spring that controls the latching mechanism. The spring attaches within a confined space and such a pair of long nosed pliers, good quality and long, are really needed. The tools supplied, a pair of open-ended spanners and a most flimsy, and yet needed, Allen key. Thankfully we have our own Allen keys that fitted, it really is that bad, although it is only needed to attach the black handles, it is still needed. You can manage with the supplied spanners, not much else is needed, apart from I used a little silicone grease on the parts where the back of the bench pivots flat to become a table and then upright again to be a bench. When you have built it you will see that the rotation is done metal on metal, well painted metal. I applied a little grease and the action is smooth. You will note that the four bolts, two either side, that control that rotation should NOT be overtightened. Just tight enough, hand tight, to hold them in place securely, but allow rotation when the latch is operated. I would suggest using the pieces of carboardof the pqcking case to place the bench parts onto as you are constructing it, they will not scratch then if on a hardened surface. With two of us building one bench it took around 1.5+ hours. Not rushing but continually working at it. Even with the help of the manual it is possible to get things the wrong way round, please watch the videos. When built... It looks good and is very solid BUT do not expect it to be as brown, the "synthetic" wood, as can be seen in the photos. It is more peachy than brown, still looks good and is very solid. When in position you need to remember that when using it as a bench you are generally sitting and facing where you like to see. But, if converted into a bench / table then the seating is opposite, you are looking the other way. If you have the bench pressed up against a wall, as an example, you will need to pull it forward to then be able to lower the back to become a table. It is heavy, heavy to side and move, think of it as having one position only when placed, unless you have help to carry it. Overall, we are happy with the design and build. How it will last with being outside, typically we cover our benches over the winter period, time will tell. It offers decent value for money, especially with the lack of needed ongoing maintenance. This bench is noted to have a 2 years warranty, the brand "LIFETIME" does not suggest that is the term of the warranty..! So, overall, I would recommend these benches. Both of ours were complete, no missing or malformed parts. Just be careful not to overtighten certain parts, as mentioned. Get help, it is heavy and bulky to do by yourself. Take your time and watch those videos, the manual is alright, but we messed up a few times with the first one. I will update this review if things change, in particular to note how the bench is holding up in terms of it lasting, and resistance to rusting.

Works as advertised!
Delivered late morning on my wife's birthday ahead of her party. Took around an hour to assemble. Instructions were pictorial for the most part, but clear about steps, and which included parts were needed at each step. Easily assembled except for final bolt on each side of the back/top, where there was very little room to work. But was doable. Came out looking good, and, most important, the bench back/table top really worked well. Easy to execute from either side with one hand, but feels sturdy all the same. Makes an excellent bench, and an excellent table, especially if you are challenged for space in the back garden. Not cheap, but feels not cheap in use, very solid. It has rained a couple of times since, and the top dries quickly. The seat does not, unless you tip the table a bit or use a towel. However, the wood is treated and it does not leave watermarks. Easy to clean.

Very happy, super sturdy!
I went back and forth on this for ages. I wanted something to sit on in winter so I could still play with the dog outside. Used to just drag a kitchen table chair outside. Could have been a chair or bench but needed to be all weather. This ticked all the boxes and bonus turns into a table, great for summer. Itโs really is super stable, quality made. I put together on my own but does recommend 2 people. I would also! Second person just to help balance stuff, the final last 4 bolts are absolute gits, they need to go though four aligned holes and then you tighten but no space to get in there to tighten. Aside from that I would happily recommend. Put some pictures up and also one for when it is raining so you can the rain proof, certainly seems it will be winter proof as using all the time I wonโt be putting a cover on it.

Great quality+ easy to build
This is a great bench that's easy to build. You can build most of it on your own, though having two people at the end helps. Very good pivoting design. Reasonably comfortable. It had slight damage to one of the 'wood' panels of the bench on arrival, but I don't care about that sort of thing I wish the wood parts were 2mm taller so they were level with the metal surround . Still fantastic

Ok but not great
Ok but not great. Back seat part has scuff marks coming out of the box, exposing the metal, so I'm hoping it doesn't rust there. Too heavy and awkward to return. Instructions very poor, even the online video doesn't specify exactly what to do and where to use the washers etc (it assumes you're some type of diy expert, which I'm not!) The supplied "tools" to construct it are next to useless. Inserting the bolts is a nightmare and for two I had to insert from the other side to what the instructions said or I wouldn't have got them in. Unless you have a very flat surface to install it then it's going to be very wobbly. Wouldn't buy again, would stick to a wooden bench in future, especially at the price.

Missing parts
We ordered two of these benches and the quality is very good - unfortunately there were key items missing from the box that has stopped us from actually building it! The missing items were the bolts and nuts - fundamental in the purchase. I wrote to the manufacturer via email in the day of delivery but so far, three days later, have not had an acknowledgment from them on my issue. So far a complete waste of money.
