Aura Cacia Frankincense Essential Oil 0.5 oz

After checking out tons of reviews on essential oil companies, I thought my brain was going to explode. Every article talked about the two big MLM companies and several other brands not sold on Amazon. Finally I took the chance on Aura Cacia mainly because of the price. Now I'm addicted to this oil. It arrived promptly and packaged well and there were no leaks.I bought frankincense primarily to address various skin issues - sun damage, age spots, wrinkles, moles, uneven skin tone, etc. I'm 47 and spent my teens through thirties on the beach and in tanning beds. I apply it several times a day. Sometimes undiluted and at other times with almond or jojoba oil as a carrier. After nearly a month, I see no noticeable changes in my skin. Natural healing can take time and other factors are involved (such as proper diet, physical exercise, additional oils used) so I'm not giving up on it yet. I've read in various places online that people apply frankincense to a suspicious mark and poof! it's gone within a few days. Maybe it's worked for other people in this way, but apparently frankincense is taking it's time with my skin. And that's OK because the fragrance is incredibly effective.I accidentally realized how calming frankincense can be. The day the bottle arrived, I slathered it on myself all day long. I went overboard with it. Sometime that evening, it occurred to me that I was totally mellow instead of my normal stressed out self. The constant smell of the frankincense was doing exactly what it's been purported to do - calm, relax, anti-stress agent extraordinaire. Now I like to put a drop on my palm and rub my hands together to keep the scent with me. I take a deep whiff of my palms every so often and the fragrance is somehow reassuring. For me at least, it's incredibly effective as an anti-anxiety aid. That alone keeps me buying more of this wonderful oil.

I like the Aura cacia seems to balance their prices by type of oil... I'm wary of brands that sell everything for $10 for example. Frankincense is more expensive than some of their other oils but it is not marked up crazy like the pyramid scheme brands YL and dotera. It makes sense to me that some oils would be more costly to produce than others. I was already familiar with this brand because they sell it at the grocery store. From my research it is just as high of quality as Young living or doTERRA... Just a little less pretentious... In my opinion :-) this frankincense essential oil smells divine... Grounding calming and apparently good for your skin! I think it blends so beautifully with lavender. Lavender and frankincense now my two favorites. My other favorites are eucalyptus tea tree and peppermint. I feel that these oils all blend well together sent wise for the most part... Frankincense's newer to me so I haven't really tried it with the others but it seems like it would blend well. This is such a versatile in delightful oil! The value for money seems good! I apply lavender and frankincense with a carrier oil (Jason's vitamin e oil) to my skin and it seems to decrease the redness of any blemishes. I've also been putting this concoction on stretch marks.

I bought this after reading that frankincense might help ganglion cysts. I thought that this idea was simply too good to be true, but IT WORKED! I applied a few drops a few times a day directly to the area and within a week or two, the pain was gone and there was no more visible lump. I'm still pretty amazed and want everyone to know that there's such an easy and painless solution! Before this, I went to the doctor who said they could drain it with a big needle, but it might come back. And there is surgery, but that's a very big, painful and expensive deal that leaves a sizable scar and requires you to be out of commission while you heal. I even tried giving it the "bible bump" - hitting it with a book to make it burst, but that didn't work either. Frankincense worked - and quickly! I wish I had known about this years ago.

I am still new to essential oils.. I have bought a few essential oils now. I have used them for everything from toothpaste making to linen spray! I was very skeptical of essential oil benefits.. I had tried many other options for sleepless nights and depression. After many years of hearing friends praise essential oils I finally gave the a try. I have created a Lavender linen spray and it REALLY has helped me relax and get a much more rested sleep! I am a believer! AND NO it is not psychological :) My DR. told me to try 5HTP and other over the counter drugs to help with some issues I was having. She told me she took them herself and they really helped her! WELL, they only made me feel worse!

Great essential oil, cheaper then other good branded oils and do the same job, this brand is quality oils I’ve used many of these bottles so I that means I love this brand and this exact oil!

Good product! But I took off one star because the labeling is dishonest. Based on the price and the smell, it's very obvious that this is not the uber-expensive Boswellia sacra species. That one smells like pine and citrus. This is Boswellia carterii, the mid-grade species of frankincense.It will work just fine for the vast majority of applications, and it's certainly a pleasant smell. You can drip this oil onto incense sticks to uncover a different side of this smell, to make it closer to frankincense resin burned on a piece of charcoal (the way they do it in churches).

Not only does Aura Cacia produce the purest essential oils I've found to date having tried 8 of the top ten, but their version of frankincense comes from the frankincense serata plant rather than the more abundant but less therapeutic boswellia plant. So I was really excited to find this cuz my son's girlfriend has cancer and needs all the support she can get! I'd already tested many brands and trust Aura Cacia to produce pure high quality oils, so to find this version was just icing on the cake!I trust these oils enough to ingest the ones that are ok to ingest in the first place...This is one of them...don't taste good, but amazing for you! Not that I'm advocating ingesting unless you've studied oils a while and know what you're doing!

Good Product. I gave it a four stars rating because it doesn't really smell as I was expecting it to.

The media could not be loaded.  It did not have a ribbed skirt with a breakaway band, which provides the consumer an indication of tampering (tamper evidency). Seems watered down and the dropper is blue. I have bought many essential oils and never seen a blue one before. The cap is white. It is very hard to open the bottle, maybe the dropper and the cap are not one set. Does not smell like my other Frankincense oils. Drops are coming out quickly and huge. You can't easy control how many at once.

I've tried many different brands of frankincense and I've decided this is my favorite by far for scent. I use it in my diffuser during prayer time.Love it!

Very satisfied with this Frankincense. I use it for diffusing and also mix with unscented lotion.
