Love the dehumidification this thing can do took my basement all the way down to 40% RH and felt very dry my basement 1400sqf and pulled every bit of water love the easy read touch screen and lcd display and easy function noise is very low dumping water and clean filter is very easy and one door you can for both love the wheels easy to move if needed to and I love the colors of the unit. All the controls are on the front and temp control very easy to up and down some you have to hold buttons in and wait for it to blink this is a very good unit love the onboard water tank as mine is not near a drain and don’t care to run hose’s Amazon delivered this unit and it was well packed foamed inside and nice solid box I was worried Amazon very rough on things but showed up and worked and all you can ask

I love this dehumidifier! It works like a beast! I chose to use with an external condensation pump for drainage for my large basement. The water continuously drains out on the intelligent mode. The setup was simple and large wheels make it very portable. The mold is gone. My basement is 1600 sq ft. and it was dry in a the first two days. I had to reach out to customer service for a code and boy did they come through! Prompt and courteous service! I’m up and running now. Highly recommend!

I purchased a Waykar 190-pint dehumidifier in July 2025 for a large basement area. During the humid summer months, it performed very well and consistently kept moisture levels under control. The continuous drain feature worked well, and the unit removed a significant amount of water. After being shut down during the winter, the unit did not function properly when I restarted it the following spring. While that was disappointing, I contacted Waykar support and was impressed by how quickly they responded. They reviewed the issue promptly and offered a replacement under warranty. Since my original model was no longer available, they offered an upgraded replacement unit. One factor worth mentioning is that my basement is quite large, and the original unit often ran for extended periods during the summer. Because of the size of the space and my desire for additional dehumidification capacity, I recently purchased a second Waykar unit rather than relying on a single dehumidifier to handle the entire load. In my experience, customer service is just as important as the product itself, and Waykar has been professional, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the warranty process. WAYKAR has built a solid durable product that is functional but best of all its well designed and handsome, not an easy task The bucket that water drains toward is easy to empty and ergonomic. Customer service is prompt in responding and when I had an issue with the unit they responded with in 24 hours and shipped out a new replacement and without any drama. Solid

3 out of 4 have died in less than a year, 2 much faster than a year, 2 months. CS was terrible. Asked me to leave it on for 24 hours to see if any water came out. Those of us with basements who need dehumidifiers know that 80% RH is it not working, regardless if it puts out 50ml of water, this thing is supposed to pull gallons. Knowing dehumidifiers, we know it blows out warm low humidity air, not room temperature air. They couldn't seem to understand that. I am taking the loss and walking away rather then pay to ship it back to them. Yes, you have to pay to send this monster back when it breaks once you convince them that you're not a moron and know when something doesn't work. The difference between 45% and 80% is generally a pretty good sign. This monster works well when it works. It also pulls about 1000 watts from the wall and is not tested at DoE standards. The 296 pints are tested at 99% humidity and very warm air as shown in the manual. 2019 standards are at 60% RH at 65F and using a set amount of watts for the pints gathered. Listing it as commercial is the back door used because dehumidifiers above 155 pints don't get the yellow energy effective stickers you see on your TVs and appliances. But my reading says it still must be tested at the given parameters. We will see once they email me back.

I have a large, enclosed basement/garage located near the ocean that is subject to high humidity. I previously used a dehumidifier that wasn’t up to the job and frequently froze. I decided to purchase a Waykar 190-pint large commercial dehumidifier rated for spaces up to 8,000 sq. ft. - model CPL190B. I liked the fact that this unit has an auto defrosting feature. It has power-off memory restart which is helpful as I occasionally have power outages. The unit also has a generous five-year warranty. Opening the box, I saw that it was well packed with large, molded pieces of Styrofoam and there were no scratches or damage to the unit. It came with a handle to making it easy to move, but I decided not to use the handle as the unit would remain in one place. The dehumidifier is made of metal and looks durable. I really like the fact that a door opens to access to the filter and large drain tank. I chose not to use the drain tank and instead attached the included drain hose to a condensate pump purchased at Home Depot. The filter is easy to remove and clean. This is an important step that should be done regularly to keep the dehumidifier operating at the highest efficiency. There is a large, bright display that makes it easy to read the settings, temperature and humidity from across the room. Turning on the dehumidifier and adjusting to the desired humidity level was simple. The initial humidity read 60% and I set it to 40% to dry out the space. The reduction in humidity took several hours due to the size of the space, but it was quicker than dehumidifiers I have used in the past. I checked the dehumidifier several days later and it was holding the humidity exactly as I had set it. I’ve only been using dehumidifier for about a week, and I am very satisfied with it.

this pulls soooo much liquid from my basement and drains right to my sump pump. very easy to use. unfortunately, it stopped working after 15 months. luckily, waykar customer service is very responsive and easy to work with. I registered the product on their website when I purchased it, which provided me with a 2 year warranty. this company stands by their products and I am very pleased with their service and quality. I will keep buying waykar products in the future!
