Purchased these for family member's back porch (unenclosed) to use with android phone during pool parties. I initially tested these with included 110AC plug but decided to hard-wire mount these using 1/2" plastic conduit carrying romex cabling.Took a chance ordering from Amazon (AV House) as these were from a relatively unknown brand and seemed to be a newer model.They've been installed for 3 weeks outside under the eve of a back porch (no direct sunlight, rain) and have made it through 100F+ summer heat and some thunder-storm down-pours. Still work fine and perform to the same level as day one.I'd recommend them as a product and I am happy with the service I received from AV House (speed of shipment, packaging).This unit was purchased and paid for by me, it was not provided free for review purposes.PROS:--> clear sound with little THD (distortion) even at upper levels--> Very affordable, prices will always vary but the price I paid was about half of what similar brands with similar specs were selling elsewhere--> Audio Prompts help verify BT devices are connected - tested and easily connected on first try to Android 4.4 and 5.0+ devices (Samsung Note 3 & Note 4)--> Very sturdy PVC enclosure with plastic bracket and metal "rotating ball" style mounts--> Good Shielding? Hefty weight could indicate large magnet size... I had zero power hum from stock power-cord testing and when I hard-wired installed--> Amp and PS built in... meaning only round "dog-bone" style power cord is needed to connect--> No proprietary cables, generic power cable can be easily replaced, only requires speaker wire to connect passive 2nd speaker.CONS.--> Included "dog-bone" power-cord is very short, approximately 3 feet... can be easily replaced or used to connect to romex for hard-wired application (like in my case)--> A bit heavy (this is to be expected)... MIGHT require a 2nd person to help mount (I mounted it by myself)

Really happy with the sound from these. Installed them on our screened in back porch and connected them with a Google Chromecast Audio to sync them up with the rest of the house. Put out good (and loud) music.They were a bit larger than i had hoped they would be, so definitely make sure you check the size of the entire speaker, not just the size of the woofer.Installation was a breeze.

Got my first set in the mail had them hooked up within 10 minutes to find out they didn’t work. Contacted the seller that day and got set up for an exchange. Got my second set July 27th and they actually worked…for 2 days. The speakers just disconnected from Bluetooth and will not reconnect. Still trying to get a response from the seller on what steps I need to take for a full refund. Going on the second day of no response from them. Save your money and don’t waste it on these trash speakers

When I received my speakers, I was immediately impressed with the solid construction. The stand/mount is well built with smooth adjustment of the pivot point. The control panel on the main speaker is nicely labeled and contains quality switches, potentiometers, and auxiliary input jacks. The covers fit snugly and should protect the speakers well. It is apparent that these speakers are put together with above average materials. None of this would matter thou, if the sound quality was sub-standard. When I powered up the speakers for the first time and tried pairing them with my Kindle Fire, a clear womens voice announced: "Your device is now connected". I thought cool feedback..... Then, I hit play. The sound quality of Fleetwood Mac's "Go your own way" was fantastic. The bass could be adjusted from very little to thumping. The treble was also easy to adjust to my preference. I have mounted these speakers under the eaves of my home on each end of my deck. Bottom line: I am amazed at the sound quality of these speakers. From quiet, classical music movements, to cool jazz, to 70's rock, these speakers are excellent. There is no hum in between selections, and no static crackle or pop at any time. I was skeptical that these speakers could perform well for the price. I am now a serious fan of NXG speakers.

These speakers had great sound, for a few days. After that, they would play for about 30 seconds before going silent. I ended up returning them for a refund.

Would work sporadically. Sometimes it would come on but usually it would not. When using direct connection versus bluetooth sound would only come out of one speaker. Other times it would try to come on but would fail.

We purchased these speakers for our back deck. They are AMAZING! They connect easily to your Bluetooth device and sound awesome! The sound is clear, crisp and loud! They are definitely worth the money and have a modern sleek design to them that make them compatible for any area of your home.
