My cats all really like these, they are a good size so not immediately lost under furniture.

I do not know why, but my 2 cats are very uninterested in playing with these fleece balls. I bought these fleece balls because of their larger size. My cats usually bat their smaller toys under the stove and other furniture. These are too big to fit under there. It appears my cats prefer small toys. Sorry. Otherwise, they seem to be made well.

I had to choose Wee Fellar Squirrelie because we don’t do feather toys at our house (3 of my 4 cats insist upon de-feathering and then ‘gumming’ the feathers to death). But furry rodents are always a big hit. This is no exception; it seems well made, doesn’t arrive with that horrid chemical stench, and is about the right size and hardiness for vigorous play. I’ve noticed that our most durable and long-term loved soft toys, the ones that really sustain their interest, are typically flatter than this guy. So jury is still out if this'll be eventually rejected for being a tad too chunky.Mercifully, this doesn’t have a bell inside but it does have a crinkle, it’s been stuffed with something. There is nothing on the retail packaging that claims Wee Fellar Squirrelie has been treated in catnip or contains catnip; it’s a little confusing that the Title for all these toys just broadly rattles off attributes... that clearly not all the toys share. Could be misleading to a hasty shopper. And lastly, though perhaps the price point will drop once this fully hits the market and reviews roll in, but this is considerably pricier than I’d be willing to pay for outright… especially since my cats’ favorite competing toys (Spot flat mouse, Ruff & Wiskerz Wildlife, and Spot Ethical Skinneeez) are literally 1/2 the price.

The jellyfish toys are a particular favorite of one of my cats. He throws it in the air. He holds it by the strings and spins it around his head! I can tell when he’s lost it, as he gets sad. I actually bought an extra set… and he accepted the replacement when he lost his favorite color - the pink one. If my cat were writing the review, he’d probably just point to all the stars in the sky, unable to accept merely 5.They have an interesting texture… not sure if that’s why he loves them, but thought I’d mention it. :)

This is the second time I've bought these puff balls made by Huggle Hounds. These are without a doubt Mayhem's favorite toy. Catnip doesn't do a lot for her, but this is also loaded with silvervine, a catnip-like substance that seems to attract cats that don't react to the regular catnip. While Mystery gleefully bats these around or attacks them, Mayhem carries them through the house talking to them like they are her babies. She lined three of them up in our bedroom and talked to them the other night. Huggle Hounds recently expanded their line of cat toys and we'll definitely be trying those as well!

Our two cats love this toy so much we had to buy two more just to be sure we'd have one available!
