An amazing introduction into the world of custom form factor keyboards (Sea Salt Switches)
I had my eyes on this keyboard for the longest time after coming across it from a randomly suggested youtube shortJust from the classic PC Cream aesthetic alone I was sold on this Keyboard. All I can say is, this thing has been an absolute joy to own and use as a daily driver for gaming and productivity, while maintaining most usability you get from a full size board.I will preface this with that I came from a Corsair K95 Platinum, which I used for the better part of 6 Years (to which it is still going strong)Here are a few of the enjoyments I had while using this keyboard:-The unboxing experience was very pleasant and the item is very adequately packed, I had no worries about the screen or any parts being damaged-The typing experience, wow! when I first brushed my fingers on the keycaps and did some sample typing, I was BLOWN away at how unbelievably smooth and soft to type, as well as the noise level being almost non existent, you might hear the online term 'thocky' get thrown around in custom keyboard circles, and this was really no exception, an out of the box board, they feel incredible, which is the price of admission alone.-Build Quality is sturdy, a very strong plastic frame with no wobble or flex, all of the buttons and keys fit well with minimal wobble, the included cable is also of great quality, and is not soldered into the board, making it very easy to remove for wiping your desk or the board down itself, additionally, it features a wireless mode-The RT100 Still retains the numpad, it was very hard to find a smaller factor board which didn't also maintain most of the keys, this 96% board is still one of few options on the market-The included screen is indeed a unique and cute addition, allowing you to display basic system information as well as a gif/picture of your choice and the date and time, very handy when you want to check without tabbing out of your game or fullscreen application. With that said, there were some use cases I encountered with this board which weren't idealCons:-RGB: It's not that great, even on the brightest setting, it is really is quite difficult to make out in the dark, I found using Green worked best, additionally the way to assign the RGB and effects inside the software is a bit cumbersome.-This keyboard will work for gaming, but it is not ideal:The spring tension of switches is quite high and I dont expect them to loosen over time, you will find your hand begin to strain after a short amount of time due to the force required to fully depress the switches; The board does actually have a feature inside the software to adjust the actuation distance, to which I set it to the lowest of 1mm, but the smoothness of how the keys move up and down make it difficult to tell if you have bottomed out the key or if you want to quickly reactuate it after letting go.This will hinder your movement and responsiveness in faster games, I won't use this to discredit the board however as I dont think it was ever marketed for gaming.Further to the previous, with the board laying flat, it remains at quite a steep incline, your hand angle will be quite sharp when trying to use the wasd keys and will accelerate the strain on your hands, furthermore, due to the 96% layout, you will struggle to find a wrist rest that matches the width of this board exactly.-ANSI Layout:I've no Idea why amazon UK is selling the ANSI (American Layout of the board) you will also lose access to some symbols, the smaller enter key, and I find I have to switch between USA/UK Layout inside my OS to access the symbol I want on the same key.Neutral:-Software:The 'Epomaker Driver Software' is overall quite good, offering customizability in almost every aspect of the board, but the UI mostly leaves a little to be desired, I encountered an issue when uploading a gif, the screen was flashing white towards the last frames, this is very distracting and will catch your eye when trying to focus on your screen.-Adjustment time:You will indeed need some time to become more familiar with this board, the compressed layout means you will fat finger keys a lot more until you adjust if coming from a 100% boardOverall, this keyboard is an awesome introduction to the world of higher end mechanical keyboards, the typing experience is the best I've ever felt, and I expect this to be a gateway into even more custom high end boards.

Nice thocky keyboard out of the box (Gateron Pro Yellow Switches)
The media could not be loaded. I bought the version with Yellow Gateron Pro switches as the sound has that deeper thocky-ness I like. And was not disappointed. As someone who wanted something nice out this box, this does the trick for me. I was replacing an Apple wireless keyboard and wanted something aesthetic - boy did I get that! As a Mac user, it connects fine but requires a dongle, I couldn’t get it to work on Bluetooth for some reason but that’s likely user error. But because it’s connected via wifi, it doesn’t show as a connected device like my previous keyboard did. The volume dial is a nice addition. It comes with the key caps to swap from default windows to include the command and option keys for Mac.I had one switch that was broken and kept sticking. I got in touch with epomaker and they sent me some spare switches to swap out which worked. Their customer service was good but because they’re based in China, it took 20 days to get the replacements (10 days to sort on their end and then 10 days to get from China to UK), so that’s something to be aware of. It would have been quicker for me to return the keyboard to Amazon and order a replacement but that felt like more hassle to me.As a newbie to mechanical keyboards, I wasn’t sure what it would come with but it comes with a solid charging cable with metal ends, key cap swaps from windows to Mac, key cap tool (to change the windows ones to Mac ones) and the little screen addition (I’ve not used that).Overall, it’s easy to use, comfortable and for me, worth every penny because it brings me a lot of joy.

Good price to quality ratio, but lacking experience at times.
The product is good, but has a few pros and cons that need mentioning.Pros: nice build quality for the money, the screen is a nice gimmick and the silent switches are quite pleasant to write on (read many online reviews about them being bad, I am quite happy with them), plenty of features. Really nice quality USB cable.Cons: the software is quite buggy, took many attempts to connect the mini-screen, often freezes and works sub-optimally for what I would expect at this price point. The battery life is quite poor, battery needs charging after maybe 24h of use. The customization options are good, but not perfect and there are a few things (like complete remapping of the keys) I would prefer to be able to do.Quite good overall, not fantastic though.
