Easy to use; easy to fit and work perfectly on my Chord speaker cable with my Cyrus One Cast & KEF R3 speakers

The item was perfect if you wanted to receive 4 mm banana plugs and not BFA connectors as per the picture

Very nice quality z-bananas from the Chord Company - easy to fit and sit nicely in the amplifier posts.Well worth avoiding cheap plugs if you need an aftermarket termination for your cables.

I can't honestly say that these are better or worse than other banana plugs. They're certainly more expensive! However, on a personal note, I rate Chord and QED for other products. Between the 2 of them they form the backbone of my HiFi with various connection leads, speaker cable etc. and it sounds great. I'm confident that Chord make a great product so I bought these, my HiFi sounds terrific so, however I got there, its done the trick. Hope this helps anyone out the who's building a HiFi, if not, don't shoot the messenger.

Easy to use plugs

I had to return these as the thread on one of the shrouds didn’t hold so when I pushed the plug into the brass socket on my PMC speakers it simply pushed the shroud off the end of the plug rather than the plug going into the socket. Had the one shroud not been damaged/malformed forcing return, I think I might have sent these back anyway as I found it very hard to push the plug in and out and the thicker end of the Z profile meant that the plugs didn’t go fully home which didn’t look good. I also found the rubberised shrouds didn’t feel up to the job or be of “premium” quality. The shrouds are also screwed onto the plug from the front once you have terminated the plug meaning that pressure was on the thread when pushing the plug home. I subsequently bought a set for a similar price from a firm with three letters beginning with Q. The plug ends on these where of the type with a narrow neck and a single long side spring. The shrouds were of a much more solid feeling plastic that did feel premium quality, and they needed to be threaded onto the cable before termination and we’re secured by slipping onto the plug from the back and screwing home against a substantial end stop at the base of the plug. The plugs were also much easier to insert but felt very secure and also went fully home into the speaker terminal even though they were of the same overall length as the Chord plugs. I will be leaving the latter review against what I consider to be a superior product.

Chord 4mm termination kit arrived in good time and the banana plugs appered of good quality.the only problem I encountered was when I pushed plugs into my satellite speakers the red or black screwed covers became loose and would come off the plug.Not so good for a quality chord product.

Good quality speaker plug.Have seen comments that the screw thread on the cover fails...it’s really not a problem, just don’t over tighten.
