This really helps with my dicky hip, I have other spiky balls but they are all to soft,(oh err Mrs!) this really gets into the spot I need to massage & hurts like hell but gives me great pain relief afterwards, also used it one when I woke up with a stiff neck & this sorted it out. Best thing I have bought this year & well worth the higher price compared to the softer spiky balls.

Do not dismiss this because it looks so...nondescriptFor best results, you need the services of Kelly Starret, so go buy the Supple Leopard book.This ball works a treat getting into tissues, muscles etc.I am a runner with a bit of duck foot going on, so my hips are biased in a bad way.Doing the Supple Leopard exercises on my hip and psoas using this is...a rather painful, very useful experience.It also works wonders on parts of your body that aren't in so much pain, like my neck.This is a wonderful addition to my pain cave :).
