Have positioned this on a pole, screwed to a post forming part of a gazebo, so it looks as though it is just taking off from the cross-bars. Have not seen a pigeon anywhere near it in first 2 weeks so am very pleased so far, but will keep moving it around. It seems a little fragile - part of plastic sheeting forming wings was ripped about 1cm on arrival but I just taped it back using parcel tape. Don’t think it will withstand strong wings but it certainly moves very realistically and the eyes on the solid plastic head are quite frightening. I have been ‘surprised’ more than once when looking up at it, so understand why the birds are keeping away. Could be being assisted by the 2 plastic herons that I have by the pond close by but so far so good 😊 very pleased

Does the job - pigeons stay away from my plot and I see them at others. The body really good but the wings slightly damaged on arrival but the seller handled that

I have solar panels on two properties, and after getting a rather large quote to add meshing to prevent pigeons nesting under the panels, I thought I would give these scary owls a try. Brought four of them, two per property. Initially the results were very impressive and they appeared to scare of all but a few hardy pigeons. However, a few months on and the pigeon problem is as bad as ever... Basically the pigeons now take no notice of these scary owls and see them as no threat. The other disappointing aspect is in the few months they have been fitted. we have not had any really strong winds, yet all four have suffered from wing damage. This means if your expecting strong winds you really need to be thinking about bringing the owls back inside, which was not an option for me as I fitted them on aerial supports at gutter level. For me they did not work, you may have better luck...

Awesome! This bird deterrent is much better than the bobble head owls. The wings and tail move and flap in the wind and if it's mounted on a pole that can swivel, the bird will turn into the wind. It started working immediately. My yard was overrun with pigeons and now they're gone. I'll probably buy two more - one to extend the range in the back yard, and the other to keep the birds from messing on my car in the front yard.

As far as pigeon scarers go this is my very first time. There are two pigeons which love my house, they must feel a special attachment as they are determined to stay no matter what I do! One side of my house is bedecked with spikes on the window sills, pipes and extractor fan. I even had scaffold erected in order to get to the pipes I couldn't reach and fastened the owl. When I attached the owl, the pigeons landed on the scaffold literally three feet away and watched. I left the scaffold up for three weeks to make sure I had dealt with the problem and there was no more mess. However since I've taken it down there is a little mess and the bloody birds sit on the gutters AND the "scary" owl and look down at me, laughing in their own way I'm sure😂 I don't want to kill em so it looks I'm stuck with em until they die. Anyway the Owl is easy to assemble and is robust but doesn't seem to scare pigeons in fact I think they're all good pals 😂

Great at first, but the wings are supported by thin plastic strips, which snapped in the first storms. The big garden pest birds then ignored it.

Relatively quick delivery (2 weeks from China). It works since putting up no more pigeons ...a month on and pigeons still not around. All my friends are buying now.

I bought this product for the pigeons! We used a heavy base of an outside umbrella stand so when a cane inserted into the base of the owl, it moves. Works better if windy. Would suggest also best if moved around, and some days I do not put out, otherwise the pigeons will get used to it! It does deter other birds so I wouldn't say 100% successful.

Questo bel gufone è stato una manna dal cielo per il mio fico che ora deve subire gli attacchi solo da cimici e vespe e non più anche da ogni sorta di uccellino/one/azzo -> sono riuscito a mangiare dei fichi! (ottimi) Vive ormai da qualche mese alle intemperie, si è scolorito un po'(come mi aspettavo, ma continua a fare egregiamente il suo lavoro, se c'è vento sbatte le ali e non ci sono più i divora-fichi in giro, i quali si accontentano di granaglie e altre belle cose messe lontane dall'albero in questione. Lo consiglio, funziona e ha un prezzo giusto per quello che fa, è anche più bello da vedere di molte altre cose ed è totalmente naturale. Consiglio comunque di fissarlo su un palo bello alto per rendere il tutto più funzionale. Aggiungo solo che per intemperie quest'anno parlo di: temporali, bombe d'acqua, vento bello intenso (sono in friuli, estate 2017 bella complicata dal unto di vista meteorologico) quindi è bello resistente

Ideal für den Obstgarten oder Hühnerauslauf. Sieht echt aus, bewegt sich im Wind und hält lange. Die letzte hat über 3 Jahre gehalten, bevor sie von einem Sturm zerfetzt wurde.

Ponerlo y las golondrinas dejaron de acercarse. Lleva unas 2 semanas y siguen sin acercarse. Estupendo, solo que las alas parecen frágiles espero que duren.

Posto fra una pianta di ciliege ed una di albicocche, non ha mai lasciato avvicinare alcun volatile. Considerando che dove vivo gli storni fanno scempio delle piante da frutto, in particolare le ciliege posso affermare che funziona veramente. Prima non riuscivo a salvarne una. Da due anni, invece non vengono più toccate. Montato su un asta da pittore di 4 metri con il vento può girare. Tolgo una stella per la qualità costruttiva. I perni del telaio delle ali sono fragilissimi e si rompono per nulla. Sostituiti con 2 bulloncini inox diametro 4 resiste anche a forti temporali.
