Greatest Hunting Stories Ever Told: Twenty-Nine Unforgettable Tales

I think this is a good book. Not for me. Bought for a mediocre reader and seems to have a little bit of an overall exaggerated vocabulary for a book intended to be just an enjoyable read.

I bought this for my husband who is an avid hunter. He generally reads magazines and newspapers but I thought he'd like this set of short stories. He's really enjoying it and tells me about some of the best stories. Good choice.

Bought this book as a Christmas gift for my husband. He has yet to open it (it's only December 7) but I'm sure that he will like it. It's a great book for the hunter in your life.

The stories are entertaining and, in many cases, quite informative. Most of the authors are well known and the chosen stories show the editor has good judgment.

This book is a mixed bag. Some of the stories are excellent and well written but others are not.

Good read if you're into hunting.

Great stories from some well known authors. I bought this for my dad, an avid hunter, for Christmas and he finished it in three days.
