Works well
I usually don’t write reviews but i promised myself that I would on this one, if it works. It does. Not instantly but after about a week I saw a difference. A bed wetting alarm was recommended by our pediatrician. I chose this one. Before we started my daughter was wetting her pull-ups every night. My daughter is 5.5 and old enough to understand the concept of the alarm. We got the wireless alarm because she moves around a lot at night and I didn’t want the wire to get tangled. Before we started I showed her how the alarm works by wetting it with water. The sound came on immediately and it was loud. Sounding like a police car. She went to bed with it and peed 2x that night. It didn’t wake her up:(. She just slept too deeply. But it woke me up and I woke her up und took her to the bathroom. This went on for about a week. She wetted the bed about twice per night. I ordered the vibrating alarm to put under her pillow. Now she had the noise and the vibration and that did the trick. We have been consistently using it for a little over a month now and she only had one accident in the last two weeks. That time she woke up, held the pee in, went to the bathroom and kept peeing. Now it has been 6 days since the last accident. We changed the sound to the more ‘girly’ one and that helped not to think we are surrounded by a swat team;) You can also adjust the volume, which we did when we went on vacation. All in all I am pretty amazed how this works. It really does retrain the brain to notice the urgency to urinate. If your kid is a deep sleeper I would recommend getting the vibration alarm as well. It just plugs into the original unit and goes off when the sound comes on.

WORKED IN ONE WEEK!!!
I rarely leave reviews but I absolutely HAVE to on this product! We have tried everything for my 13 year old son over the years including waking him during the night, ordering an ultrasound on his bladder and even prescription medication to concentrate his urine at night, Our doctor recommended an alarm. We had tried wired alarms but He is a profoundly deep sleeper and he would only rip them off in his sleep. I originally thought I’d use this with the Goodnight disposable pants he wears, but realized he needed the wired Dry Buddy underwear to make it most effective. I am not exaggerating when I say the first three nights he was able to sleep all night completely DRY! I don’t know if it was psychological or what?!! The fourth-fifth night he wet and sounded the alarm and we helped him wake up to use the bathroom. FROM THE SIXTH NIGHT ON HE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DRY!!! Even waking himself up to use the bathroom around 4-5a.m. on his own and using regular underwear!!! I can’t tell you what this means to me as a mom to know we have overcome this issue and for him as an 8th grade boy to no longer have to deal with wearing pull-ups to bed! I don’t care that I spent $150 on the alarm and underpants! It is worth it! I only wish I’d known about this system earlier. I kept thinking he would grow out of it. I love the fact that the unit is wireless and unobtrusive. He can use it himself which maintains his privacy. I also love the remote alarm. It works from the other side of the house so we can disarm it ASAP without waking our other children. Do not hesitate to spend the money on this system! You will be glad you did!

Complete garbage. Drybuddy alarm is the worst. Save your money.
Perhaps the worst money ever spent on any purchase ... EVER. The sensor is bulky and awkward to wear. The alarm is actually hard to operate and the complete system is one big mess. You have to synchronize the sensor and the receiver. It’s not like what you do with a Bluetooth unit. It’s really complicated. I am not an engineer. What is a transceiver, pairing and shorting? Anyway, I watched the horrible video online and after failing 5 times, contacted the company. No response. Finally a few of my friends helped and we got it connected. Now the sad part starts. For start, the range is horrible. I purchased a wireless alarm for comfort and range. The magnetic sensor is heavy and my son thought his underwear would come off. He also felt it pressing his genitals when he was asleep. Somehow, I convinced him that it’s still the right solution for him. Big mistake. He wet the bed and the system did not alert me. I took the wireless receiver in the other room. The only thing that separated us is a wall and door. Next, I opened the door and tested. He wet again next night and nothing beeped. This thing is literally dead. Called the company, but as usual, no response. Then I placed it by my son and when he wet, it did beep. But so faintly! It sounded like the alarm was gasping for air and choking on itself. I picked up the unit and about 5 steps later, the range dropped. This junk has a range of about 5 feet and advertised as 200 feet. Utter nonsense. What you have here is a falsely advertised piece of clunky electronics that will set you back several hundred dollars and give you only frustration and loss of hope. I wish I had never purchased it. User instructions are difficult to read and understand; customer support is non-existent and product is poorly designed and manufactured. Cheap plastic, cheap feel, cheap everything. Complete waste of money. Junk. I would like to give it negative 5 stars if possible.

It worked very well. We used it for 2 months. Daughter is now accident free for 2-3 months. Worth it.
Worked very well. We also purchased briefs from the company's website. Although the smallest size was still a little large for our 4 year old, they were still comfortable for her and worked as they should (we actually had her wear them over top of her underwear because of the size). We used the alarm for about 2 months. The first week she had a few accidents. After that the alarm would wake her when just started to urinate so we could get her to the bathroom on time. Eventually she started waking on her own when (if) she needed to go. Now she has been accident free for over 2-3 months, so we can store it in the closet in case we need it for the next child. We are very grateful for the product. Thank you! Cons: The alarm sounds are very basic and literally alarming, so our daughter was fairly terrified every time it went off. A few times this also woke our other daughter. Unfortunately, this might just be a necessary part of the process and still beats cleaning up soaking wet bed sheets in the middle of the night. You can adjust the volume, but if it's too low, it might not wake up your child. We didnt try the silent, vibration accessory. That may have helped. Ultimately, though, it worked.

Great results, nonexistent customer service
We have traveled a long road for my oldest to be dry at night. He trained during the day at a normal age but he turned 8 in May and despite using another pad and alarm system for 16 weeks he was still wet at least three nights a week. This other system had an included online tracking calendar for adding stars on nights that he was dry, pre-recorded online sessions with exercises and encouragement from a doctor, and the reviews were excellent. The only reason we can see why it didn't work for him and the longest streak of consecutive dry nights he had was about 10, was because he sleeps on his back and it took too long for the wetness to get down to the pad and make the alarm go off. By the time he woke up his bladder was completely empty. Within three nights of using the Dry Buddy system attached to the front of his underwear we no longer had to change the sheets on his bed and still haven't had to a month into the process. Our agreement with him is that he will keep wearing it until he is dry for a month consecutively, and unfortunately after 3 weeks he had one night of a late bedtime and some sugary treats and juices at a party before bed and he was awoken at midnight by his alarm. However, even in the presence of this one setback the results we have had with this system have been night and day compared to the pad and alarm system. Our son is also completely responsible for putting this on at night and turning it on before he goes to bed, it has just become part of his routine. The magnetic closure is very strong so you must be careful not to catch any skin in it but we have not had any problems. Comment about customer service. When we received our alarm the button on the top of the unit will not turn the system on, you have to use the remote control, even though the instructions say you should be able to do it either way. I tried resetting the device and nothing work so I contacted the company to get a replacement unit. I left a voicemail on the number provided and I also wrote an email and did not get a response from either one. In my book that is completely disheartening and unsatisfactory when you spend this much money for a system.

Great product! Comfy, easy to use and customize
We tried another alarm given to us by a pediatrician but it had a wire that went out of the underwear and my son hated wearing it and decided he didn’t even want to try wearing it anymore. He had a few more months of sleeping in a pull up and being dead to the world when I’d try to wake him for a bathroom break. A few month later, he was ready to try again and I found this on amazon and decided to give it a try. He started wearing it on his normal underwear with a pull up over it and the first week, it went off nearly every night. Then over the next couple of weeks, it only went off sporadically and now, 2 months later, he’s still wearing it on normal underwear and it’s only gone off once in the last month. We’re almost a graduation success story! It’s got lots of different alarm sounds and he got to choose his own and the volume can be adjusted as loud or quiet as you want. I’ve been super impressed with this product and would definitely recommend it for anyone who has had a struggle with nighttime bed wetting.

Second one bought
Great when it worked! Thought it was my son that was messing with it and broke it. Then. Bought a second one and now this one worked the first few weeks and now won’t go off unless it’s just right which when you sleep how can’t you make a kid not move. Does alarm . I’ve tried customer service and all I get is that it’s unreturnedable

Excellent product; wish I’d bought this years ago
After trying what seemed like everything, i finally bit the bullet and invested in something I should’ve tried a long time ago: the dry buddy system. Let’s be clear; It is NOT a magical elixir, but instead a helper and confidence booster to anyone with bladder control issues. My son is now confident in himself and has “beat the alarm” for week long streaks. Every streak gets longer and longer and soon, he’ll be ready to sleep without it. Until then, it has helped him teach himself how to wake when or before he has to relieve himself. It came with excellent instructions and, if read in their entirety BEFORE use, will work from the onset. The alarm is insanely loud (my son has slept through an actual tornado, but wakes when he hears the dry buddy siren). The alarm can even be heard on the opposite end of the House, waking me in the dead of sleep. I also felt it to be the safest option as there is no wire for my son to wrap around himself while he sleeps- Completely wireless.
