These are fine, but there are no instructions for assembly. Once I zoomed in on the pictures and figured out how to put together for the size I needed it was easy. They hold my planters well and so far have not fallen off in any storms. Love the various ways they can be assembled depending on the size of your planters.

Standard deck rail is 2X4 wood. Evidently nobody working for this company knows that the standard 2X4 is 3 1/2 inches wide? There are 2 ways to build them for a deck rail. Neither of those ways are drilled/slotted so you can use 2 screws (for strength) and fit a standard 2X4. Plan on either drilling them or using a piece of wood behind the bracket to make them work and be sturdy. I plan on using them for a 30" fire-pit hanging on the rail. I really don't want it to fall off while it is on so I want it to be strong.

We attached our brackets to our deck and proceeded to put the pots in them. They did not hold up the weight. It would have been nice to know how much they would hold. My husband used a board to hold them up in place. Other than that very easy to put together.

These look nice and are pretty simple to assemble. The biggest problem I have with this product is that it didn't come with all the nuts and bolts I need to assemble all the brackets. I bought the 6 pack and can only use 4 brackets. I've just contacted the email provided on the installation instructions, so I'll update this if they get back to me.The only other gripe I have is that I had to use my own screws to drill into my deck in order to keep these in place (see silver screwhead in second pic). There's no way these would've held my planters without doing that. As of now they work well and look nice. I have an extra wide deck railing and these were the only brackets I could find that would fit over them. I just wish they came with all the hardware needed, including the screws I needed to use from my own supply.

The media could not be loaded.  First of all, the company only gives you just enough screws for every little piece that you’re building, when usually any company gives a few extra pieces, especially screws.It doesn’t hold up very well at all and every time you try to fix it it constantly tilts back down and I’m talking about a wooden patio railing where there’s about a half inch lip. It just won’t hold up no matter what you do! You can however then try to use the huge screws that they give you to drill into your wood, which is exactly the reason why I bought these - so I wouldn’t ruin my wood but and not even that, I would believe, would hold them up. . Every time I water my plants I get nervous because I can already tell it’s going to fall down any minute and I’m also nervous about walking up and down the stairs of my patio with any vibration because I feel like it’s gonna fall down at any second. Now I have to hold it up with a ghetto-looking wire, which I know is not gonna hold it up any way. Anyway I don’t have any extra screws or anything to fix the problem and it just looks terrible now because you can’t really have it grip where it needs to have a tight grip and this is talking about wood… if I would say you have a metal railing forget it it’s gonna be even worse. the ghetto-looking zip ties are way too short and you won’t be able to use them anyway because they are way too short for the normal size planters- and they are usually all around the same size in any store you buy them so if you’re trying to put extra weight by actually watering your plants which is what they need . . forget it . .you’re going to just waste even more money because you’re gonna have to replace the cracked planter once it actually falls down. Worst waste of my hard-earned money and for $50 I expected a lot more.
