The product was very well made and high quality but the product description page was a bit misleading. The stainless steel elastic snap (needed to hold the light tight against the working surface in a soffit installation) was not as long as the product description photo depicted. The elastic snap was much shorter than the drawing showed- would've been helpful to show the actually measured length of the snap or have a more accurate drawing. In my installation, the light would not stay up flush with the surface.

Update - I had an issue with a couple of these lights burning out and provided my feedback here, the company reached out directly and handled the matter to my satisfaction. It is nice to know that they support the products they sell.

i used these lights for my deck. the price on these were a fraction of the other ones i tried buying in a lighting store and as of now, they are working well. so pretty!

These little LEDs are solidly built with thick machined aluminum casing. You can tell from its construction that it can take a lot of abuse, unlike many other flimsily built LEDs that look nice but are not likely to withstand the test of time. One of the enemies of LED longevity is heat and this device is built around a thick aluminum heat sink! So when you put this thing in the ground, you know it's going to work for a long time and you don't need to worry about having to dig it out after a year or so because the LEDs had burnt out, or have significantly reduced brightness due to excessive heat.
