Great product
This is a great product and easy enough to set up. As I have steel beams I bought beam clamps and used this rather than screwing the brackets into the ceiling, which I didn't want to do as it is an old lath and plaster ceiling. Just waiting for my paddleboard to verify.delivered now!

Very large model boat hoist
First class item, well made and does the job I intended. Slight concern when reading instruction and it shows two ropes but only supplies one, further reading made it very clear where second rope came from. Overall impressed

Good bit of kit Unfortunately I was missing one of the machine bolts but a trip to B&Q later I got the bolt

Great system.
This is a super product and it was easy to install (the ropes for the pulley system took a bit to work out) and it took my 2 paddleboards perfectly up to the roof of my shed. The pulley fixings were very good quality and were easily capable of carrying the load. Very impressed. I can now get my bikes out so much easier from the shed.

You get a lot for the money.
I gave this 5 stars because of the price point. You get a lot for your money. The kit is relatively simple to put together and includes everything you need to hoist your kayak up out of the way. The components aren't the highest quality but at this price there's nothing bad I can say... It works. I would suggest pre drilling the holes for the lag bolts. I didn't bother rigging the brake, just my preference. The straps are adjustable which is a big plus.
