Everything I wanted. This lamp is well made, sturdy and strong. Easy to assemble. The light has options bright of soft. I use it to read and puzzle. It is also lite and easy to move location.

I bought this lamp for "sunlight" purposes when I am sewing, but the extra light is great. I didn't know I really it. The light is dimmable, so good for anytime of day or specific need. It is easy to change settings, assembly was easy, weight is perfect and it is streamlined in its appearance. What is not to like about this lamp?

Sits at a good height for a sitting desk, but not tall enough for a standing desk. Light covers a fairly wide area, and gets bright enough to light a whole desk very well. I love the range of color temperatures and brightnesses, which are easily picked with an intuitive remote. The remote also has a few preset settings like desktop, reading, and nighttime. I also especially love the timer function, which turns the light off after an hour. The bendy neck is also great for easy positioning and stays exactly where you put it.

The only reason I gave the product 4 out of 5 stars is that Amazon pulled a fast one. I bought two of the lamps for ninety-nine bucks each (thinking it was a great deal as it listed for seventy bucks higher) on Prime Deals Day. They were delivered quickly. Impressed with the quality, four days later I decided to buy one more lamp, only to discover that they were marked down an additional 15 bucks each! To Amazon's credit they made the adjustment. Caveat Emptor!Now let's talk about the product. Easy assembly...took less than 5 minutes. You must pair the remote to the lamp, which was easy. The multi function remote takes a little getting used to, but works well. Adjusting the color temp and brightness was easy. Several pre-sets on the remote are OK, but maybe not practical. They did include the AAA batteries for the remote which I thought was a nice touch. The lamps have heavily weighted bases and seem to be very sturdy. The gooseneck was easy to adjust to the angle I needed. I was very impressed with how bright the lamp is, which is why I wanted to order a third for a task light. The other two I ordered have a specific purposed will remain stationary. The design is modern and sleek. It comes in black or white so will blend with most decor. The power cord is attached half-way up the pole which may or may not be good for your purpose. It doesnt really matter to me, but the cord is a bit shorter than I would have liked. I cannot comment on the longevity of the lamps which is a bit concerning as they are not exactly cheap. The light source (bulbs? LEDs?) is not replaceable so if it fails, you will have to replace the entire lamp. That is really the only down-side to what appears to be a good product. My only suggestion is that perhaps an added magnet for the remote would be nice, so you could attach it to the light pole when not in use. Also, they did pair differently! Even thought I have two remotes for two lamps, each lamp needs its own dedicated remote. I had to mark which remote paired with which lamp with a color dot sticker. Not a big deal. I did not try to pair them together with one remote...that might work. I am very pleased with the lamps.

I bought the UV therapy light as an adjunct to behavioral therapy to treat depression. I use it when reading and it's the perfect lamp for my bedside as well. I do feel less tense after use. It looks nice and it was easy to assemble.

A couple of years ago, we purchased two of these over the span of a few months so we could use them at multiple locations without needed to move them. They are sturdily constructed and continue to work well and reliably. (Please note that, if you purchase more than one, the remote controls need to be paired to their corresponding units and will not function interchangeably.)
