Brilliant - Even the smallest of tea leaves wont get into your drink but all the flavour does.
Very pleased with this. I prefer loose leaf tea to teabags but quite often I don't want to make a pot of it so this gadget is ideal for just one or two cups. I think it is absolutely brilliant. It is a nice looking well made item and the holes are very fine so even the smallest of tea leaves wont get into your drink but all the flavour does. This is my third tea infuser and it is by far the best one. Yes the others may have been cheaper but were nowhere near as good. I know some people have said that it does not fit their mugs but with respect they must be using plus sized mugs. I am using it with a standard sized mug with an outside diameter of 8 cm and a height of 9cm and it is fine on this. I would recommend it and would buy again if needed but looking at the quality I think this will last a long time.

Great tea infuser
This is a great tea infuser. It is made of stainless steel, as advertised. Works well on loose leaf teas, allowing the flavour to mix without letting the leaves through and is easy to clean. The little lid/saucer is useful for resting the infuser and not getting drops or liquid on the surface. Fits well in a standard sized mug. I have only used it for single servings, but there is room for more and I think it could be used in a small-to-medium sized tea pot (for 2 to 4, or even 6 cups, quite comfortably). Brilliant!

Great for tea leaves
My husband wanted to move to tea leaves so we got this to try. nice and easy to use sits in normal mugs easily and the leaves have a good amount of room to move about. The lid is handy if you want to rest the infuser in after removing from the mug but generally I rinse it out straight away. It does stain quite badly but the dishwasher does a good job of reviving it back to bright silver. You do have to give it a good rinse to get all the leaves out but nothing to strenuous. Some of the small leaves get into the tea but I think you'd get that with any insfuser

If you use loose leaf tea, this is a must!
I don't want to use teabags anymore - some contain plastic. I bought this handy, well constructed, well designed tool. It works brilliantly. Put a teaspoon of leaves in to bree a cup, two to four to make a pot. The holes are very small, so even with powdery leaves, your cup/pot will be free of leaves. An example of perfect design. A1.

Excellent
Bought this for my wife to strain a lemon drink she makes. It is absolutely brilliant. The holes are very fine and I have tried it with leaf tea and no leaves escape. In effect you have something like a large stainless steel, reusable, tea bag. There are cheaper ones available but I feel this is worth every penny. Would definitely buy again if needed but I think this will last a long time.

As quck as a teabag - recommended
This is a great product. I have been using it for a few days and I have to say it's as quick as using a teabag. I use it with standard black breakfact tea (Yorkshire tea to be exact). One teaspoon in the strainer, boiling water in and by the time I've opened the fridge and got the milk out the tea is brewed enough for me. There are a couple of negatives as follows. We have quite large mugs in our house and the tabs on the top of the strainer only just reach across the top, sometimes if the water is poured in too vigorously the strainer will fall into the cup. it's not really a problem as the thing is quite tall and just rests on the bottom of the cup,, but it is irritating. Secondly, and this does not bother me but, if using black tea rather than herbal tea DO expect a bit of tea dust residue in the bottom of the cup. To me this does not speak of a fault with the strainer, more about the quality of the tea we have in the UK, too much tea dust. Tea leaves do not get out, just the dust. When it comes to emptying most of the tea falls out with a sharp tap, into a block rather like you get from an expresso machine, but you do need to rinse the last little bit away before reuse.

As easy as using teabags, but much better flavours
I wanted to use more loose-leaf tea, partly I'd been given some very fine blends that are not available as teabags, but found it quite messy to keep emptying the tea pot, and felt that throwing grouts down the sink was not great for the plumbing. This simple infuser is perfect for making a single mug of tea and is easy to drain and dispose of the contents in the bin. Good price - I'm thinking of getting a few to give as Christmas presents.

Perfect design
I often buy loose tea and use a teapot and strainer. This strainer is used directly in your mug or cup and removes the hassle of using and cleaning a teapot. The strainer is well designed at a good size that allows excellent infusion of the tea leaves with plenty of holes around the sides and bottom. The holes are small enough to not allow any of the leaves to fall into the cup which produces a perfect cup of tea.The lid is perfect to hold the strainer afterwards so not messing up your worktop.Overall there is nothing I dislike about this product. Makes a perfect cuppa, high quality, very easy to use and easy to rinse out and clean. Very pleased and highly recommended.

Fits up to 3 inch wide mugs , good price
If you use tea leaves, then go for it but just take care about the size. These fits mugs of up to 3 inches diameter and easily fits on a teapotThe top makes the brewing quicker and then you can use it as a receptacle for the strainer to prevent drips over any surface. It is too small for some of the mugs (please see the photo)You can make drip coffee in there and if you cover the inside with kitchen towel then there will not be any sediment left in the cup.Good price (I purchased it when it was on sale). As I had it for a week only ,cannot rate durability at this point

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Very pleased with the strainer (which I have also used for filter coffee) the lid is very handy as a stand. I have already ordered another one for a gift. Thank you

Brilliant!
We decided to move away from tea bags due to the stuff they make the bag of (a form of plastic). So, real loose tea. This gizmo allows you to use loose tea in the teapot, or an individual cup, without having to use a separate strainer. Utterly brilliant. Tap it out into the food waste for the next use. I can't really comment on the flavour, as it's steel!

OK, but diameter is too small for a good size mug
OK, but not big enough to fit across the middle of a mug. Only really suitable for a small cup or the small opening of a teapot. Not what I was looking for.

Useful little guy
Wasn’t a big tea leaf lover, but discovered the joy of it few time ago, this tool is very practical on small cup, big mug need to do a bridge with the spoon - increase the adrenaline if you drop it all in it ..

Great for its value
It certainly does it's job. It's inexpensive, good for its value. It has good drainage and holds the tea leaves well enough. No struggle to get the tea leaves in, compared to strainer balls.I like its simple shape, very style friendly. The cap is really useful. The metal edges feel a bit too sharp when washing though.
