RGBIC LED Neon Rope Lights, 10ft Gaming Lights for Gaming Desks

Govee is quickly becoming my goto for all of my LED /smart lighting projects. Ever since my first smart bulb, no issues whatsoever (knock on wood). App is easy to use and Alexa/Google integrates as soon as you register it. And it looks good framing my computer workstation! Be sure to follow instructions as you can only bend it one way (back), corner brackets are included for the "L" corners (front). UPDATE: I bought this in September 2023 and as of January 2024, the last couple segments started going out or not connecting with the rest of the strip. Lightly pressing on the problem segment seems to connect (as shown from the last couple images). I sent an inquiry to Support after trying the troubleshooting they offer in the manual pdf but it doesn't address the issue. I hope there is something Govee support can offer or since there is supposedly a 12 month warranty on these lights that I can get a replacement... Will not be happy peeling the product off with that super sticky adhesive but I love this product and worth the effort. Only taking away two stars until I either get a maintenance solution or offer of a successful warranty replacement. ANOTHER UPDATE: Govee came through 48 hours later (after my first update) and had me do a factory reset (forgot the sequence but involved holding down the power button and one other button... this was NOT in the manual). After responding back that it didn't resolve the problem, they sent me a free replacement which arrived within 2 days (I was still under warranty). This was maybe 2 months ago as I'm writing this and no issues. I'm just happy that Govee stands behind their products and responsive to customer concerns! I immediately bought a Govee sconce I had in my save for later cart, after that experience. If a brand takes care of me, I'll stay loyal to them. Bad experiences are only bad because nothing was done to address the issue.

We recently set up my son’s gaming PC area, and we used Govee lights to bring it to life and WOW, what a difference! Word to the wise as I had to take a risk making my own magnetic desk light solution versus Secretlab's Nanoleaf version: I’m really happy with how this desk light setup turned out. I used a strip of magnetic tape and stuck it adhesive-to-adhesive with the Govee light bar, and it worked perfectly. The magnet lets me mount it cleanly to my desk frame inside where the cables are held, and it feels just as secure and functional as the more expensive branded option. I originally looked at the Secretlab Nanoleaf desk light, but this solution was far cheaper, easier to customize, and I didn’t have to deal with their customer support. The light quality is great (look at the picture for how radiant the glow is on the wall with the lid shut) the install was quick, and I actually like that I can move or reposition it anytime without fuss. For the price and flexibility, this is a smart alternative that gets the job done just as well, if not better, than the premium desk lighting kits. Note that the length of this desk light is about 10ft. There are magnetic tape products sold on Amazon that are also 10ft. Make sure the width of that tape is .6 inches as that is the width of the Govee lights (actually it's .59 inches but hey this doesn't actually make a difference). This to ensure you get proper coverage with the tape. When I used the tape it worked very well and stuck to the side of the Secretlab cable holder without any issue. It is more vibrant, better customizable and most importantly I didn't have to gamble with the garbage customer service from Secretlab. Also, second note, realize that the Nanoleaf version from Secretlab is known to fail and doesn't connect well with their app. Govee setup on their app was VERY easy and seamless. You can remote control it on your app on your phone or via desktop. So far, it seems durable and is holding up. Between this Govee desk light and magnetic tape it cost me about $80. You can even get this desk light for even cheaper during major sales ($60 or so). Secretlab is WORSE and the Nanoleaf desk light costs $100 with subpar customer service.

(Updated 7/23/24) I purchased the lights and 1/2 the line stopped working after 8 weeks. I posted a review voicing my displeasure. The customer service rep contacted me and replaced the lights free of charge. They actually offered me a refund! I love the lights and the quick response of the support staff! Thank you so much. 5* (Review 7/5/24) I loved it when I first bought these lights. It added a cool effect to my videos. Last night everything was functioning properly... I turn on the light strip today and half the strip is not working anymore. I've only had the Neon Rope lights for Dest for 8 weeks. I spent $129 and now I'm out of my of money after less than 90 days.

This is one of the easiest peel and stick light devices I've used. Unlike many lower quality light strips this one shows 0 led hot spots which means it's a seamless strip. It comes with an inner "L" shaped plastic piece to not bend the strip too much. It's very soft feeling like a soft fair rubber, not sticky and adds safety if you have sharp corners on a table. We have it set up to our Wi-Fi network which works with all forms of Android and Apple users like Siri and Google and so far has not lost connectivity. Simple ask it to turn on and it will, you can also ask it to change brightness, modes and color, including when it should shut off or on. This is definitely worth the cost and has the length to fit most tables. Colors are vibrant and there's endless versatility.

it looks more durable than it is. i installed it on the edge of my desk, just like it's shown in the product videos. it sticks to the desk just fine, doesn't come unglued. my issue with it is that i put my feet up on the couch arm rest next to my desk, and rest my knee against the edge of my desk where the led rope is. im not sure how much pressure my knee exerts onto the led rope, but apparently it was enough to break it. the place in the led rope where i rest my knee, started flickering and turning a different color. everything past that point in the rope stopped working. after a couple days of it being broken, i got annoyed and pressed with my fingers where it had turned a different color. that seemed to get the rope back to working normally. a while later, having forgotten about the issue, i unconsciously rested my knee against the edge of the desk again, causing the led rope to freak out again. like before, i pressed the rope and it flickered back to normal. given the price i paid for it, and the material it's made out of, you'd think it would be more durable. i mean, there isn't much pressure from just resting my knee against it. i expected much better quality and durability. it's not like i can just take it off and exchange it. that thing is really glued on there.

I waited for these to come down In price, and now I wish I would have got more. Great lights effects are great. Will buy again but the $100 price is the down side.

After 7 months of using it weekly there’s some part doesn’t work I need to hold it to power the other parts even after it , after I did that it will be a dead parts doesn’t turn on

Excelente calidad. Las puedo sincronizar con mi Govee Envisual TV T2 aunque la sincronozacion es por bluetooth sincroniza bien en colores y ritmo. A mejorar: Debería tener mas puntos de corte o vender tiras mas cortas. Ademas de.tiras led mas largas. Se llegan a requerir tiras led mucho mas cortas y largas. Considero que sería una excelente mejora mayor número de puntos de corte, haría la tira led mas personalizable.
