I was really looking forward to enjoying this little unit. Even received an email from the makers of the unit prior to receiving it which made me feel better about my purchase. Unfortunately, the unit failed to operate after about an hour. I had a older model tried and trusty Artic 2.0 cooling device that served me well for about 3 years. I wanted to test the waters for a different little unit. I followed the instructions as advised. After many long searches for a cooling device, I find myself back at the drawing board. Thankfully it worked for the many happy reviews from other customers, but turned out to be a 'Dud' for me. 😔😔

I moved into a new office building and found out a I have two big windows around my cube (lucky me, I love all the natural light). The downside is the California sun bakes it even if it is not hot out. We also can only have USB fans, so I stumbled on this one. The two best things: it is quiet, and the fan is strong enough to keep up with this California heat. The lights are a nice touch and not too distracting for the office. The instructions didn't have quite everything listed, so I went to Amazon, and they are all here. It would have been nice to have them in the instructions though. This isn't a knock on the product so I will still give it 5 stars. It just works, is quiet, and looks cool on my desk! Highly recommend it.

This product is of poor design. If you put cold water in it the water turns warm over time. There is no way to put ice cubes in it to keep the air cold so when the water turns warm, the air it pushes is warm. Overall, this item is made cheap but it does cool the air for a short period of time. I wouldn't buy it again.

Like…okay…it’s a fan. There’s nothing AC about this. It’s a fan. Sorry, I know I’m repeating myself. But…it’s because I’m confused.Let me give detail here.Can’t put ice or a freeze pack in it. It’s super small. Sooo…AC how??Put it right next to you and it will help you feel cooler but the hotter it gets, the less effective…BECAUSE IT’S A FAN.I’m so confused. I searched and searched for a positively rated portable AC and thought I found it. Maybe it’s just too hot where I am. That is possible.So, I guess if you’re in LA without central AC and a proper breeze during the summer, this review is for you. It’s just a fan. Not worth $50 at all!Also the method for filling it with water isn’t great at all. You have to measure the water independently instead of the device coming with a simple Max line. It’s clumsily in the back and the hole is teeny. You have to tilt it to fill it and can’t really gauge with your eyes how much water is in there. So if I’m adding water to whatever water is left in there it can be grounds for accidentally over-filling and water spilling out everywhere, making a mess. Which as you can imagine has happened.Also, at moments the device will refuse to turn on. I thought it was a power thing, but after trying different outlets and configurations, with the same random result, no clear understanding what that’s about.The instructions booklet, which is translated poorly btw, has pages and pages of a whole lot of warnings about “loss of life” and “don’t dos”. Very much a turn off…So, uh…naah.

The media could not be loaded. Overall, I like this for what I needed it for. I work from home and my house doesn’t have air conditioning. No need for it, really. We only need it 2-3 months out of the year and I’ve got other home improvements to invest in. However, working all day in my house on the hot days is challenging. This fan is perfect for my desk area. It plugs in with a USB and is very quiet on the low fan setting. The higher speeds get a little loud, but as long as I’m not on a Zoom call it’s not obnoxiously loud. The fragrance disc really doesn’t do anything. And I’m pretty sure the water reservoir is only if you’re using the humidifier function. This will be great in the winter! It works without the fan. I was confused with the white sticks that came with it, but I think they are to provide extra pluggage (not a word….but I’m making it happen) for the water reservoir, which has two cheaply made caps. The LED lights cycle without the fan being on too. Great for a desktop fan. I doubt it will cool down the whole room, but it’s perfect for personal use!

Like a regular fan just with fun lights, aromatherapy and mist but not cooler than a fan. Thought it was like a swamp cooler where the air passes through water to cool the air - it is not. Returning it for a personal swamp cooler that has the air flow through ice or other cool water so the air is actually "cooled". Bummer!

Very light compact design. I used it with power bank in tent and on the nightstand next to my bed. Works great. Really liked design and led show.

Useless in real heat and adds moisture to an already humid room. Humidity creates mold and other health issues. Instructions were written by someone who cannot speak English. Completely misrepresented.
