The battery worked much better than my expectations. This replacement battery now allows me to have my laptop running unplugged for over an 1 1/2, where the defect Dell battery would only last about 20 minutes or so. Easy to install and I think was a good value for the price.

Worked great, the tools included were also helpful Few unnecessary points -The hp laptop I used this battery last around 4 hours on battery only -Install was easy and screws did fit right -I tested on Ubuntu and after running the scripts used to realize the battery was bad and needed replacement, with this new battery the voltage checks were flawless -The tools included are useful but not comfortable, but the size was good to add in my car electronics toolbox for small fixes needed on the road, however the pick was great and replaces my old one y my main toolbox 10/10 would recommend

This was a perfect match for my dell laptop. It charged up to 100% easily. So far it is doing fine (only about a month of use so far). Seems to be a great battery, and I would buy again!

So far so good. We'll see about longevity. In general I have not been impressed by the quality of "genuine" HP parts. My hard disk started failing slowly (according to the SMART data) after 5 years, the fan started making a horrible racket after only a few months, and the original battery failed after a few years. Considering my old Toshiba laptop battery lasted over a decade and only slowly lost capacity, this sucked. And my toshiba laptop from 2012 is still going strong on its second hd. All I know is this Chinese HP battery replacement worked right away, and it shows a battery health of 100%. I cycled it once down to about 40% and it gave a few hours of life under regular web browsing and app activity. I have not tested how long it lasts under video load. I feel sure it cannot do worse than the battery the laptop came with originally. The only good thing I can say about HP laptop design is it is easy to get inside the case (once you lift up those rubber feet-bars to access the screws) and the battery is secured by only 2-3 screws. So easy to replace. But God help you if you need the adaptor board to change from a mechanical drive to a NVMe. That interface board is not available ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, for any price. But HP still has battery, fan, RAM, SATA drives if you need them.

Was delivered at 4:52. I started the install at 5:15. I was done by 5:29. Went off without a hitch. I followed the installation instructions from the Dell website. Battery is charging. Its at 68%. My only complaint has nothing to do with the seller of the battery or the battery itself. Its the cheap hex screws Dell uses to secure the back case cover. The heads strip really easily so be careful. Make sure you have enough downward pressure so the tool is maximally inserted. This is a task of finesse. The screws are tiny and it requires precision and concentration. If your hands shake or you have rheutemism then have someone else do it. Amazon delivered to my front door which they weren't doing before. The previous package they left leaning against the rock wall at the end of the driveway in the Texas sun, easy pickings for anyone driving by and I would never know. I changed my delivery instructions. Now I will see how the battery performs. I will update this review later.

Finally a battery that works! I returned 3 other 'new' batteries from other sellers because they didn't give me more than 90 minutes of charge even after trying to 'condition' them per HP recommendations. When I first put this battery in, I only got 120 mins, but then I followed HP's directions and ran the battery to 0% and recharged to 100% (I did this twice), and now I'm getting more than 4 hours of battery life! I am hoping the more I use it, the more life I'll get out of it. In short, I am very satisfied with this battery from this seller.

This is an early review for this battery. Good Budget Fix for an Older Laptop Fast Delivery: Received the battery very quickly after ordering. Tight Fit: The battery was a tight squeeze during installation, which is why I am deducting one star.Lower Material Quality: Compared to the OEM battery, you can tell the material quality isn't quite as good. Fine for Older Tech: Since my laptop is old, the lower quality wasn't a big deal—I just needed it to work. Great Runtime: I did a full battery drain and was able to watch 6 hours of YouTube with no problem. Final Verdict: So far so good, but we shall see how it holds up long-term.
