This is actually really helpful. It is really hard to eat low Fodmap; garlic is in EVERYTHING, it's super annoying. This has made going out to eat a lot easier Sprinkle some on the food, flavorless and odorless, and it 100% helps. It's expensive, but totally worth it. Don't really want to go into details beyond that, but let's just say it prevents exactly what it's designed to prevent.

This product changed my husband’s life. He has IBS - specifically, problems with mannitol, GOS, and fructans. Mannitol was easy enough for him to avoid, but avoiding fructans was very difficult and led to a very restrictive diet and a lot of weight loss to the point of being quite underweight. He didn’t experience much joy in food, and as an as a family that had previously loved to eat out and enjoy all different kinds of cuisine, that was gone from his life. And even though he was eating a very restrictive diet, he still often experienced problems. (The monash app was his guide, and they frequently re-categorized products anyways so it was constant confusion .) At first he was skeptical of this product, thinking it was perhaps a gimmick or scam, but I convinced him to give it a try. He was pretty surprised at how well it worked at first, but it wasn’t perfect and although it gave him some relief (which he considered a victory), he still wasn’t entirely sold. But over time, he got better at using it - it took some trial and error for him to figure out how best to get it to work for him. By this I mean that he learned to adjust the serving size of this powder. The serving size can be confusing, such as when when eating out at restaurants, because you’re not always sure of everything that could be in a dish or the serving sizes of the ingredients in the dish. And he is more sensitive to some foods than others, so he uses a little more for those. And for some raw fruits, this seems to work, and for others, it does not…at least for him. We’ve concluded that each person’s gut must be so unique that it varies some for different people so may take some tinkering. Having said all of that, he has been using this for about a year and a half now, and he does not leave home without it. He has an ongoing subscription to this product, and although it is expensive, we have decided it is worth it. He does not hunch over in pain anymore for hours. Our family can eat out at restaurants again. He enjoys the foods that he has always loved, although there are still about 6 to 10 foods that he knows to avoid. Essentially, he has food joy back in his life again. And as his wife, I see that it has impacted his mood in his everyday life. He’s happier and less blue. We are so thankful for this. But please, if you decide to buy this product and it doesn’t completely work at first, give it some time and try it in different ways and at different doses.

This product worked for me when nothing else did. It’s not a miracle—I’m on my second bottle and waiting for the same results as the first, but it seriously changed the quality of my digestion.

This digestive enzyme really works. Now I can eat some food that before I couldn’t, but not in all the meals. Because in my case, if I use too much, it causes constipation.

I’m still uncertain if this product is truly efficacious, but I’m willing to give it a longer trial. My biggest complaint is that it is messy, inconvenient and challenging to use. I find it hard to believe there isn't a quickly dissolvable capsule that works if taken before a meal. So scooping out the powder: it frequently spills, creating a mess (challenging to get it on sandwiches or snacks), the food cannot be too hot or else it doesn’t work, and it’s not convenient if you are out to dinner. It does come in much more expensive packaging for portability, but waiting for your hot meal to cool and then sprinkling it on your restaurant food while dining with guests is just plain icky. Taking a discreet capsule ahead of time is better. Can you please fix this? I tried putting it into a shot glass filled with water, but it’s just another step. Also, it’s pretty expensive, and a lot of it ends up on the counter.

I have used the FODZYME product about 15 times so far and would say it definitely helps with the digestion of mushrooms, onions, and garlic, which were giving me issues earlier. What is keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the price per serving and the way it has to be used. First, I understand this is a unique product, and Kiwi Biosciences has a lot of research and start-up costs associated with this. I hope they will be able to drop the price in the future because the price per serving is cost prohibitive for a lot of people. Many FODMAPs are important staples of people's diets and it is hard to avoid them. The single serving sizes are even worse per serving and create additional waste with their packaging. FODZYME has definitely helped me with the testing I've done so far, but the cost is kind of wild. Second, trying to measure out the powder and then eat the food with the powder on it is a challenge. The 1/4 tsp scooper is kind of a mess to handle, and with the desiccant packet in the product, it's just not easy to grab this mini scooper and scrape around in the little container. This might sound silly, but having a bunch of powder on your food is kind of a choking hazard. It is really easy to inhale or exhale this stuff unless you integrate it into your first bite. As an example, sprinkling it on pizza, it just sits on the top of the slice. Using it on salad (with onions/garlic in the dressing) is not easy either. It's not a great product delivery. I understand it needs to mingle with the food to do its job, but aren't there vegetarian capsules that dissolve super fast that could be used instead? If there were capsules, the wasteful single-serving size wouldn't be needed. I hope Kiwi Biosciences continues to evolve this product's packaging and pricing so it is easier and more affordable to use.

This stuff has changed my life. Truly. I thought I was gluten intolerant. For years I ate gluten free. I still had GI problems but they were intermittent. finally, my wife read an article that said that a lot of people have a FODMAP problem, not gluten intolerance. I went through the full three week diet change--cutting out every fodmap and within two days I was fully better. But what now? Am I going to live like this forever. I started adding some back in, assuming it was going to a long slow process to figure out which fodmaps were my biggest problems. Then I found FODZYME. Wow. What a difference! I eat everything I want now. But if I skip a meal, or wait until I've finished the meal, I can still have problems. Take it every meal. Take it in the first few bites. It works.

Opens up a whole new world of flavours! It's so liberating to suddenly think, "Oh, I CAN eat that!", going around the supermarket or eating out becomes so much easier. Fantastic product that really helps, particularly when travelling because I don't have to explain "my body can't digest onion, garlic, gluten..."

This helps so much with my kid very happy with this product.

Excellent for fructans and GOS intolerance. No I can enjoy pizza and so many other things when out with friends, and I don’t need to ask my family to alter their cooking.
