The media could not be loaded.  You probably want to add this light to your arsenal if you are a content creator / any sort of videographer.PROS:- Powerful. Really nice when you have a soft box and can spread it all out evenly. Even without, this can light up a scene beautifully.- Form factor. It’s on the smaller size and packs a good punch.- Build quality. I was surprised that it felt as sturdy as it does. It also comes in a nice case which is a savior when it comes to storing these things.CONS:- The menu was tricky at first but I hooked it up onto the mobile app on my iPhone which is really easy to use. No hassle setup.Overall super happy with my purchase and will look into Viltrox’s other products. Was happy with the lens that I bought from them and was surprised to see these lighting setups.*note - in my second picture the light looks extremely blue but that is just the angle.

I gave this light a 3 star not because of the light itself, but because of the cheaply made plastic Bowens mount attachment that de-attached at a wedding rehearsal during setup.I’ll start with the light…. EXCELLENT!!! It is bright and consistent. Once you download the app, it connects immediately without issue. The swivel mount is made of metal and is sturdy. It locked the light in position perfectly. The dual NPF battery attachment is a godsend and makes this plug in light 💯 portable. It takes two batteries and last over an hour at 50% power and below. Not sure how long it would last at 100% power.The power cord is extra long so you won’t have a huge problem with this being up on sticks plugged in.I purchased this as a cheaper alternative to light a wedding reception. Let me tell you, I added the apeture fresnel Bowens attachment to this and it made this light 10x’s brighter at a quarter of the power! Plus it threw the light across an entire banquet hall!!! I added barn doors and cto gels to my liking because it’s not bi-color. It is daylight balanced only.THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM BEGAIN…The Bowens mount has its own light pole attachment and is sandwiched between the light mounted on one side and whatever Bowens attachment you’d want to modify the light on the other. So using this cheap, plastic mount attachment, your light isn’t secured to the light pole and is suspended in air by this cheap plastic attachment. While carefully repositioning the light on the sticks (light pole ) the minor vibrations caused the light to dismount and fall. Thankfully it landed in a chair but the NPF batteries took the hit and their casing cracked .The upside, the unit fell from about 12 feet high and survived hitting the seat back of a hard chair. The downside, this happened and made me super nervous about mounting it again for the actual event (it fell at practice).They have a $20 replacement mount but it’s the exact same build. Which sucks. Hope they make a metal one soon.When I ended up doing was mounting my light directly to the light pole and letting the Bowens mount with fresnel attachment hang instead. I figure, the cheaper of the two investments will be easer to replace rather than Losing a light (plus I have insurance).The weight of the diffuser however seems yo lock in place better than mounting the plastic thing directly to the pole. Surprisingly it didn’t fall even through micro adjustments I made at the reception. I did tether my unit so if it fall it wouldn’t come crashing down though but hang from the pole.So if you get this and plan to use the Bowens mount … be aware.I conclude…. The light is a 5star. That ONE mount accessory is a 2. Bringing this to a 3star product in my opinion

This light is loaded with extras - you can use two of the Sony (or compatible) batteries that have become a defacto-standard for accessory power on camera accessories. It takes two of them to power the light, or you can use the included AC adapter. The battery holder can also charge the batteries! It does add a bunch of weight and makes the unit a bit side-heavy, but it's 100% portable with the batteries.Then there's the handle. Hold the light overhand, underhand or whatever works. It has a 1/4-20 threaded hole as well so you can use this with a bunch of equipment, not just this light.The case? You'll actually use it. There's extra room so you can pack some smaller doo-dads, batteries, etc.Brightness? It's plenty bright and the reflector is fantastic. It's fixed at 5600K so is on the white/slightly blue side of the spectrum - it is also called "day white." The special effects are fully programmable - speed and brightness. However some are limited by the single color. The firelight/candle effect needs a yellow/orange cell for example. The TV effect really needs several colors. But the lighting and camera flash are perfect for video effects.Really sweet kit!!

Tested this against the Nanlite. Forza 60, and it puts out the exact same light. So the fact that it’s advertised as brighter is false. Nice metal construction though.
