Q: I am 5'1" tall woman and am looking for a 30 lb kettlebell but am concerned about the thickness of the handle? Is it too thick for small hands?

I only have two smaller weight kettlebells (5 and 8 lbs.) from this company. There is no difference in the width of the handles on these two but I would imagine the width on the 30 lb. would be wider? The width on the two I have is fine for smaller hands. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Hopefully someone will have a better answer for you!

I am 62 and I started with five pounds but really fast, less than two weeks, I needed it seven pounds. One month and half I used ten pounds. Depend how strong you are but your build you strength fast with kettlebell.

Q: Does the handle on the 15lb have enough room for two hands (standard women's hands)?

Yes. This was a gift my adult daughter asked for and she can easily fit both hands in it.
