My wife purchased the smoker for me on Fathers Day 2026. I have thoroughly enjoyed the smoker for making old fashioned or just drinking bourbon. I learned a few things about the smoker that I want to stress to everyone who is considering it. When you open the kit it tells you to make sure you clean it after every use. This is not a suggestion. If you want your smoker to last you have to clean it with warm water. I personally go the extra step and after several uses I will take it completely apart and boil the metal parts, not the motor or fan. Also, only fill the wood chips screen with a small pinch. Don't over fill. I have learned that small goes a long way in how much smoke it produces making it more efficient to fill the smoke box itself. Lastly, the customer service is top notch!! They responded really quick to my emails and questions.

Wanted to provide an update as I reached out to Smokey Crafts directly and they had amazing customer service. After I told them that the device stopped working they sent me an entire new kit as well as a video on how to clean the device to prevent it from not working again. We absolutely loved this when we got it and even bought one for a friend. We have not had it very long or used it very often and the device that pulls the smoke through and burns the chips already stopped working. We’ve tried replacing batteries and it will turn on and off sporadically. This is a really cool idea, but doesn’t last long at alll

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday because he loves smoked old fashion drinks, first time we used it, it worked great and he brought it out to use for the second time it wouldn’t turn on and by that time we couldn’t return it. Very disappointed and I bought this item when it was $129 felt like it was a waste of money

Bought this as a potential gift but tried it myself first. Packaging was good, legit for gifting. Build quality is pretty good. On the cheap ones they put a very thin glass and didn't fix well. This one is more sturdy and better feeling. There is a distinct wood smell, it is pleasing to me. Hose could be longer, I guess it can be easily fixed with a longer one from Home Depot. At first try I put too much wood chips and it didn't smoke well. Next round I filled half and got much better results (video). I tried with coffee and wood flavor is infused after a minute. I will try other flavor.

I absolutely love smoker kits for cocktails. This one does a great job, but has a couple of draw backs. The screens gunk up faster than any other smoker kit I have ever used and the cleaning process is pretty annoying with this one. A proper cleaning requires taking a screw out and all kinds of BS. the motor works quite well and it puts out plenty of smoke to fill the double drink box, but it's drilled with a straight shaft into one corner of the box so it takes a long while for any of the smoke to make it to the top of the glass if you have a slightly taller drink. I use standard size lowball glasses and sometimes the drink on the far side gets almost no smoke inside the glass but a ton all around the outside of it. there are better options out there for the money but this one works well enough for occasional use.
