This lamp works really welland is easy to hang, cannot fault it at all. It’s been on nearly constantly for 4 1/2 weeks, keeping my lab puppies warm and cosy.Worth every penny.

Essential purchase for puppy breeder. One thing I would say should be mentioned on packaging when using for this purpose is that prelonged exposure can dry the skin of a pup and though ive had no issue i have heard prelonged infra red can damage eyes too. Given use indoors i had this on a timer when pups were young and only had it on for short bursts as they got older.No more than 4-6hrs. Then 2hrs as they get older though if I kept them in a barn or outdoor kennel I may have kept my original 6hrs in the night.Good quality simple product.

I am very disappointed with my purchase ! I tried out the lamp when I received it to make sure it worked before the puppies were due just in case I had to change it . It was it all working order . When I first came to use it when the puppies had been born I was present whilst I switched it on , it had only been on 5 minutes if that on the low setting and front or the bulb came flying off hitting the front grill ! Although it didn’t smash ( which could have been so dangerous and harmed the puppies) I made a terrible bang that scared me and my dog ! I ordered a new bulb online but unfortunately when came to use it I couldn’t as it made my dog very unsettled and anxious so unable to use . So very disappointed and a waste of money 😡

Easy to set up and bulb is chunky and very nice. We bought this for chicks we were incubating unfortunately the incubator was faulty so we only had one little chick hatch but this lamp has kept him warm and he's now a healthy 1.5 year old rooster! It's very good that the lamp comes with a chain so it's easy and quick to set up and it has 2 heat settings. Very happy! 🐥 Edit: since helping raise this one little chick the heat lamp has been a life saver - the lamp is in regular use, from poorly day old chicks that mum hens have rejected as well as poorly guinea pigs that were soothed by the heat to guinea pigs that just want a warm after a bath. It really nurtures, heals and soothes. Couldn't do without it!

The box was flimsy and the lamp damaged as a result. Luckily only cosmetic damage and it wasn’t bought to be decorative. No time to send back as I needed it for a poorly duck. Worked really well. Great to have 2 settings. Other than the poor packaging letting it down a great product.

If the bulb lasts for a reasonable time, it will be good value for the money.Build quality is OK, the heat given off seems ok, the suspension chain is a good length, and is OK.Not much else to say about it. I would buy another if I needed to, so there's that.
